“From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.”

“Everything was very good, very clean, room was spotless, bed very comfortable, had great sleep 😴 breakfast was excellent plenty of variety, nicely presented and hot food nice and hot, we enjoyed our stay and will be back for a longer stay, staff very helpful and friendly especially receptionist, thank you ”

“Really enjoyed our stay here the place is stunning with loads to do. Enjoyed a couple of pints in the castle by the fire and had a great breakfast the next day. The lodges are huge and very well maintained. A real getaway ”

“Hotel troppo grande con troppe camere (dispersivo). Il WIFI non funziona in camera ma solo nella hall (questo è molto penalizzante). I servizi sono buoni, in camera macchina del caffè Nespresso e Dyson per asciugare i capelli. Molto apprezzata la palestra e la piscina. Colazione buona”

“Very nice hotel. Comfortable with lovely staff. Receptionist exceptionally nice. Bedrooms are lovely amd comfortable and fridge had 2 jugs of filtered water. It was lovely to have enough water and not have to buy plastic bottles. Food was amazing. ”

“Check in was excellent, however the room was cold, only a blow heater. Asked at reception for someone to come and look at heat but someone only came with another heater by did not look at the issue”

“What a lovely hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and checked in within minutes. We were appointed a quiet room which was spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very nice both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel had excellent gym facilities. All in all a great short break!”

“Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs ”
