Questa proprietà squisita si trova su otto acri con un quarto di miglio di fronte spiaggia privata. La casa si trova alla fine della spiaggia all'incrocio tra l'Oceano Atlantico e il fiume Sable.
Costruita di recente nel 2009, questa proprietà di 2.300 piedi quadrati ha tre piani di spazio abitabile con una splendida vista sull'Oceano Atlantico a est e sul fiume Sable a ovest. La casa è circondata su tre lati da un grande ponte all'aperto al primo livello e da un terrazzo al piano superiore della camera da letto principale al secondo livello.
La casa sulla spiaggia ha quattro camere da letto e due bagni. L'interno della casa è stato costruito in legno naturale da un maestro falegname per integrare al meglio lo splendido ambiente naturale esterno. I numerosi servizi che sono forniti includono Wi-Fi; TV via cavo su due livelli; grill a gas; lavatore e asciugatore; lenzuola, asciugamani e una cucina completamente attrezzata; forniture per pescare e mordere; e un paio di kayak.
Louis Head Beach è una spiaggia di sabbia lunga due miglia con aree più profonde ideali per la pesca e zone poco profonde ideali per il nuoto, il body surfing o il kayak di mare.
Per pranzo, musei e altre attività, la pittoresca cittadina balneare di Shelburne dista circa 30 minuti. Ancora più vicino, a circa 15 minuti si trova Lockeport, noto per la sua bellissima spiaggia di Crescent. Per un'esperienza di grande città, Halifax è a circa due ore di macchina a nord-est.

Fabulous beach. Challenging road…needs grading. View from house limited as trees have grown and block the view from the first floor. Lots of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. wonderful overall stay. Photo is from 2nd floor deck..of sunrise.

We had a fantastic time at the Louis Head cottage. David was very helpful and responsive to any of my questions. We spent most of our days in and around the private property with activities like clam digging, mackerel fishing, swimming, and beach combing. The cottage itself was very comfortable and much bigger than I expected so we could spread out and had our own space. The expansive Louis Head beach was amazing and most days we had it to ourselves. Carters beach close by seems to draw much of the beach crowd from the area leaving this a pristine paradise. Thank you David for your hospitality. We would love to return in the future. This cottage is one of the nicest I have stayed in and of course the beach is wonderful ...long, powdery white sand with almost no seaweed ...excellent for walking as it is so flat and very good for children. We swam as well. It is close to the towns of Lockeport with more beaches and tourist things, a nice restaurant; Shelburne with a very nice waterfront.There is a very nice BBQ, outdoor shower and plenty of room in the cottage and on the deck. Beds were comfortable. Bunnies in the yard. We will probably stay here again although we like to go to different places in the province, this really hit all the boxes!

Excellent Location

We had a lovely time! Spent all day on the beach. The children loved digging holes and making sand castles. Beach sand makes this feel like a tropical getaway. House is huge. We never even used the downstairs with 6 of us. Could have easily had another couple with us. Would recommend this hidden gem and we look forward to booking again!

A relaxing time in September with the beach to ourselves . Kayaking should be done with care & knowledge of tides. Great wildlife in area. Marshlands very peaceful .

I recently stayed at this wonderful VRBO property, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The views from the property are stunning, offering a perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. A blissful private retreat

We had 7 people in all (one a toddler) and the house accomodated us perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. The only issue we had was poor satlite for the TV ... constant "blips". That was not important to me, but some in my family were disappointed by that. The beach is absolutely incredible, and the location is blissfully quiet and private. David and his wife were helpful and accomodating whenever I had a question. Some days were spent simply enjoying the wonderful beach, on others we made day trips to towns and villages around the south shore, and returned to our sanctuary at night, This vacation was blissful, and I will recommend this location every chance I get!

Louis Head Beach Tranquility

This is a quiet, tranquil setting with a long stretch of pristine, sandy beach right out the front door. Most times we were the only people on what seemed to be our own private beach. The house is extremely clean and we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck watching the chipmunks feast on the wild strawberries in the lawn. Totally relaxing and a completely enjoyable east coast experience.

Superb house and property

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house in Louis Head. It is totally private and just a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in NS and most of the time there was nobody on it but us. We had intended to do some exploring of the south shore on this visit but the property was just too beautiful to leave!

Lovely Property

We stayed for 4 nights, and had a wonderful stay. The house has everything we could have wanted and the location is amazing. The beautiful beach rarely had anyone else around and was amazing. Note: bring bug spray, there were a lot of bugs on the beach at the time of year we were there.

Exceptional experience

This is our 2nd time staying at David’s property and it was once again a stellar experience. Immaculate property with everything you would need. The beach is like your own private hideaway. We spent almost every day on the beach and our kids loved it. Can’t wait to go back again next year
