“I had a great stay, Doug and Cathy are wonderful hosts. The only drawback for Toad Hill is the bathroom may be uncomfortable for large guests, it's pretty tight quarters in there. Other than that, I really enjoyed the views, and the breezeway and patio. It's convenient to things in Knoxville, Alcoa, Northshore and the airport.”

“I’ve never written a review for a hotel, but by chance someone is saved from being fooled by the 200+ positive reviews that HAVE to have been bought, here it is. This property is disgustingly dirty and atrociously dilapidated. The pictures you see on the listing are absolutely NOT accurate. The halls are filthy, doors with chips and dents all over. Carpet had holes and there are holes in the walls of the hallway. Paint is peeling everywhere. Our room had two large brown stains from a leak...

“Very nice place, we slept well. Yes, you can hear the restaurant below but it’s very low noise and calms down by 10.. nothing during the day.. not an issue. Great location for dining, and access to Maryville Campus is great. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Everything was great!Couple things that might benefit future guests. A little note somewhere that explains how the HVAC controller is a remote that needs to be pointed at each unit in order to make changes. And couch pillows would be a nice touch. ”

“Be warned, this property is falsely ranked as a 10 and is an Expedia recommendation but the hotel is horribly maintained and disgusting. Had we not arrived at 2am we would not have stayed. Lobby has water leaks in sealing and no elevator, Our room had cigarette burns and tears in the bedding, stains on all the pillows, lamp shades were busted, mold in the shower, bathroom was torn up like an animal was left inside, sink had not stopper and water pressure/fossette was so bad it sprayed...
