“Marquetta is the most amazing host. She provides fresh eggs from her chickens, bacon, English muffins and even a half stick of land-O-Lakes butter for breakfast. There are very nice chocolates bedside. They even have a coffee station! We go for the amazing, relaxing pool. It is amazing. We make this yearly vacation spot. Everything is amazing!!”

“This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.”

“Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.”

“The property was secluded and quite but not too far from the expo center which is where the event we were traveling for was located. The short travel time between the stay and event was nice providing plenty of time to rest before heading back. The cabin had all we needed to prepare meals.”
