  • Rickhouse: A structure designed to store and age distilled spirits.

    Sparked from a passion for fine spirits and the idea that a home can contain all the makings to craft the perfect cocktail, the Rickhouse was born. Featuring chesterfield leather seating, a vast collection of cocktail glasses, regulated 4-tier humidor and spirits-centric art, it strikes the perfect match of comfort and eccentricity.

    NuLu (New Louisville) is known for its stylish bars, splashy art, unique goods and an ever-growing number of the best new local eateries. Your house is located one street behind the main strip, so walking to the heart of NuLu is less than 5 minutes!

    The Bourbon Bedroom: 1 King Bed w/ full bath right outside the door. This bedroom contains custom built bourbon barrel walls, sourced from Kentucky’s finest distilleries.

    The Sotol Bedroom: 1 King Bed w/ connected full bath. This bedroom features Sotol (AKA the Desert Spoon) - a clear spirit primarily crafted in Mexico and was introduced to us by way of Texas distillery, Desert Door.

    The Rickhouse has a fully fenced backyard with a patio, grill and fire pit. We supply the charcoal and firewood (when in season).

    Free street parking is available directly in front of the house. Whether you prefer walking, biking, scooter-ing or Uber-ing, there's so much to do and see around you - and lots of ways to get there.

The Rickhouse was an absolute gem for our Bourbon Trail trip!Its prime location offered convenient access to the NuLu restaurants and Whiskey Row.Loved the decor, it gave the house a Bourbon Room feel. The kitchen was well equipped; the complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch.We had a fantastic stay - just wish we had time to enjoy the fire pit and backyard.Kyle and Kenzie were great and made everything easy. Would highly recommend for a memorable stay.

We had an amazing experience here. This property is very nice and truly felt like our own home. One of the biggest highlights was the location. We had incredible access to local entertainment and a huge variety of restaurants-just a short walking distance away. The host provided great communication throughout our stay, and the beds were extremely comfortable, which made a huge difference. If you’re looking for a top tier property in the vicinity of the action this is it highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property. Hosts have a list of recommendations that was excellent. Have been to Louisville about 5 times, good area to stay. Can walk to a few distilleries, restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

This was a perfect place for 2 couples doing the Bourbon Trail. Walking distance to many restaurants and very close to others. Kenzie and Kyle were wonderful hosts with great recommendations and always very quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend The Rickhouse!

Lovely NULU property

We loved our stay! The decor was charming and home VERY clean. It was close to many activities and food choices. We enjoyed the recommendations given prior to our stay as well. Communication was excellent and check in/ check out was super easy. Would definitely stay again!!

A great place in NULU

This house has everything you need for a great stay in NULU. It’s in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and boutiques. The house is well stocked, comfortable and clean. The hosts are accessible and very helpful. 10/10 recommend!

NULU Gem!

We had a wonderful experience. They have thought of everything to make this place a comfortable, welcoming, meticulously clean, safe place to stay. Perfect getaway for visiting the bourbon distilleries in Louisville with beautiful decor. Communication with owners was easy with immediate responses and tons of recommendations.

Had a great time in and around Louisville. Property was everything that was advertised. Had a small plumbing issue which was immediately resolved by the property owner. Loved the home. Would stay here again.

Amazing house!

Absolutely spectacular property and the owners were incredibly gracious and helpful! The house is immaculate and has an awesome bourbon theme. The backyard fire pit was so much fun to hang out at night and drink our daily bourbon finds. It is within a 5 minute walk to a bunch of great restaurants and bars. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent Week in Louisville!!

Fun week with great friends to experience the Bourbon Trail. We loved the property and the location to great restaurants, and distilleries! We loved La Bodeguita restaurant. This property has been well thought out and with lots of love. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and charcoal grill, so enjoyable. Great place to stay!!
