“A lovely retreat overlooking the Douro, only 11 bedrooms so it’s very quiet and relaxing. Everything about the property is perfect, clean, fabulous staff and a wonderful breakfast with loads of choices. Tucked away but a short and cheap Uber or Bolt ride into the city centre or to the beaches.”

“Abbiamo soggiornato tre giorni e due notti mio marito e io. Siamo stati benissimo, dell'accoglienza con un koktail di benvenuto, alla simpatia del personale. La nostra camera deliziosa si affaccia su un bel giardino, peccato il brutto tempo, non l'abbiamo usato. Penso di non aver mai dormito in un letto così comodo, biancheria di altissima qualità. “We arrived at the property and noted to be warm and somewhat humid inside the unit. We noticed that the unit is not blowing cold air. The fan was working well though. We contacted the responsible party. He guided me to some setting changes but, it didn't change anything. The outside street air was much cooler than inside. We left the windows open. But the street traffic noise was too loud and flies and bugs kept flying inside. We could not sleep much. They should not rent the unit if this...

“Clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location. Close to shops , restaurants and bars. Train and bus was also easily accessible. The only issues was that it can get noisy at night, if you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine.”

“Negativo El porto suites está en una calle de adoquines con mucho tráfico cuesta abajo. Nos tocó la suite 5 y se oye MUCHO RUIDO. Los coches, la gente hablando, las gaviotas... TODO. Las ventanas son viejas y no está aislado de ruido. Para dormir fatal. NO hay ascensor. La puerta de la calle da portazo cada vez que viene alguien. Las almohadas están amarillas bajo el almohadón.
