“Stained carpet, zero WiFi coverage (it worked in reception for the staff) if you are on EE mobile there is zero mobile coverage so big problem. maintenance crew came ti the room and said yes the WiFi issue is a known problem!! So why not fix it! They seem to only be interested in weddings and groups. I was on my own and turned away from restaurant (it was half empty) and told come back in 45 minutes. Staff completely disinterested.”

“The hotel is an attractive building set in extensive grounds, with an interesting woodland walk. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few areas where the guest experience could be improved. It took us quite a while to find our room because the receptionist did not give us complete directions, and the signage did not direct guests to the second lift.
