“Very unique fun, retro motel! Comfy beds. Clean. Pool closed early in our opinion. There was a water cooler and ice free to use. Ping pong, a fire pit, picnic tables, etc. walking distance to a small beach. Cute murals behind the building. Excellent water pressure. Cute gift shop. We enjoyed our stay! Would stay again. Parking lot is a little narrow. If you are a larger person, the toilet area in the room is VERY SMALL.”

“This wasn’t just a stay, it was an EXPERIENCE. We felt like guests in someone’s mansion (because we were!). The furnishings, the music, the decor, the history, the ambiance were all exquisite from the moment we walked in. And the breakfast… three courses in colors, tastes, and textures that were unique and so enjoyable. Chris and Jenna were such gracious and knowledgeable hosts. We hope to visit again!”

“I requested a roll away and was told we can't use it due to a fire hazard. No problem I understand. Next day our AC went out. It was so hot and my dad is a senior. He could barely breathe. We informed the staff and they told us they're not able to move us because all rooms were full. Again we did not make a big deal about it. “The hot tub and pool area were really nice! The breakfast place was perfect and even open longer than the hours stated. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to Putt putt and really good Mexican food.! You can walk to the DNR building and see fish and animals. You can walk to the beach at the campground. It’s right where the two lakes meet! Highly recommend!”
