Bella proprietà sul lungomare con vista di 2000 acri di Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Ci siamo innamorati di questa deliziosa proprietà sul lungomare del Michigan con un'atmosfera casalinga. È spazioso e ampio 1700 piedi quadrati di spazio vitale. C'è un grande mazzo che ci piace ogni nostro pasto "al fresco". Ci sono luci e candele che rendono la cena e il vino così perfetti. C'è una zona salotto nel cortile anteriore e (2) pozzo del fuoco separato per un grande gruppo. Uno nel cortile e uno sul lungolago per godersi il tramonto. C'è un soggiorno e anche una camera familiare se è necessario disporre di un'area giochi separata per i bambini. Il tavolo da pranzo può ospitare 8. Una delle mie altre caratteristiche preferite della casa è la doccia esterna con acqua calda. Niente come guardare le stelle dense sopra mentre fai la doccia.

Multi generation vacation

The yard was a big hit ..with kids and a small dog the outside was much visited . I enjoyed my coffee every morning outdoors either lake side or back yard watching all the birds and squirrels. Open space in middle of house to visit n eat together was very good , kids loved the outdoor shower! Pretty quiet nice neighborhood. Close to ever thing . Thanks for sharing your home with us .

Great spot

My friends and I really enjoyed this property and I’d highly recommend booking this place. The backyard is fantastic, short walk to the lake, rooms were comfortable and spread out, and basically had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the property and especially the location. There are multiple steps up and down at various door thresholds that make it a little tough for the very young or old. Some details needed to be tended to, and we brought these attention to the owner.

End of summer Family trip

Nice size for our family of 7, close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Large outdoor spaces with plenty of seating. We cooked at the house all 3 nights of our stay, only disappointment was the gas tanks for the grill and fire table were empty after our 1st night.

Bronco Takeover

Property owner very accommodating and prompt response to any needs. Home is very cute and has lots of cottage character. We would suggest bringing your own fan if you need cooler temperatures for sleeping. We LOVED having the beach access and sat there every night after being on the dunes and car show during the daytime. We already booked to come back next year!

Great Family Vacation

Our family met here for a three night stay and it did not disappoint. It was immaculate and my grandchildren loved fishing off of the dock. The home was very clean and the kitchen was stocked the best of any rental we have been to. The host promptly answered any questions by calling us personally and the property manager personally delivered life jackets once we requested the paddle boards be available for use. The only down side I can think of is the chairs down at the beach were cracked but it wasn’t a problem as we had brought our own. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Decent location but overpriced for ammenities at Silver Lake

Upon arrival, we thought home was across from the lake, or extra lot was across from lake, it was down 4 homes. That was not terrible. Online it looks newer than it is. Ants were found in the back bedroom with orange/red wood floor & all over kitchen counter & window sill. There were ant traps on the sill, so we decided to go get more at Walmart. We put them on counter, in bedrooms &more on window sill. Within another hour of returning, we see ants had got into our food, we tried moving it to the pantry but the previous guests left food in there & fridge, there were chocolate chip cookies open & ants everywhere in there. Not many bowls in kitchen with lids so I headed bk to local store for zip lock bags. I did notify the owner of the issue, she stated they have never had ants, & I responded that cannot be true since there were traps when we arrived on window sill, & I found 3 cans of ant/bug/roach spray under the kitchen sink. She sent property manager there the next day at 1pm to put out more traps and spray around the home. I had told her we needed an extra set of sheets as there were none around. One of the beds had dirty sheets & stains when we arrived but manager did provide new the next day from locked closet. Home states it sleeps 10 but that with air mattress. We had 9 & a 10 month old baby. Not enough towels for 10 or silverware. 4 nights & only 5 rolls of TP. Beds not comfortable. Nice yard & outdoor shower. Home was not clean, food on floor/under furn

I put caution tape on the floors, didn't want anyone tripping although most of us did, no one was hurt, would have been nice if there was a latter on the dock. we arrived after there was a bad storm, house was ok no damage, however the cushions were left out when we got there and took two days to dry out. the house was cute and we did enjoy ourselves, We made the best of it.

Great vacation

House is in a good location with many activities nearby. Very nice backyard and house was very clean. Property manager is quick to respond. Short walk to the dock with a lovely view of silver lake and the dunes. Would stay here again.

Late Summer Getaway

Decided last minute to spend 3 days with family. Have traveled to Michigan for 30 years but have never visited the Silver Lake area. The area and the house were both hidden gems for our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to relax or have fun including private lakefront access a few hundred feet away from the front door. Nice kitchen with spacious counter, huge firepit, outdoor hot water shower, huge yard, and another firepit at the lake for watching beautiful sunsets. The Host Maria and the property manager Robert were both very friendly and made our check-in and checkout and our entire stay perfect.

Amazing trip!

Our family really enjoyed the house…it felt like home and was EXTREMELY clean!! The sheets and blankets smelled fresh and it smelled really clean when we walked in for the first time. There was plenty of space and the outside had a huge backyard with a really nice fire pit and a patio with a gas fire grill. It’s about five houses down from Silver Lake and is centrally located making it super convenient to get to town and the dunes! Thank you!! We’re definitely coming back next summer!!

Wonderful stay!

The yard was spacious and we enjoyed the fire pit, plenty of privacy! Plenty of parking (even for the boat trailer). Just a short walk or drive to the lake. We would definitely stay again! Plenty of room for everyone in the house and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great family vacation spot

We arrived a little early so headed to the dunes prior to check in. We couldn't have been more excited about the outdoor shower... We used it before even unlocking the door to get the sand off all the kids. Smart thing to provide! House was very clean... Honestly for as much sand that is around silver lake we didn't find any upon entering the home. Pretty amazing The house and yard fit our lifestyle. Quiet and room for young kids to roam While the water access wasn't right at your door it worked for us. We walked the few hundred feet to the water and fished (didn't catch anything but to be honest I didn't think my 7 year old would) and used the provided paddle boards and kayak a couple times on calm days. Sandy bottom and shallow. Nice perk. If we wanted water we drove to little sable point or parked at the state park and walked to silver lake and ran down the dunes into the lake. We brought our bikes and road into town for ice cream and Craig's cruisers most days. Not a bad ride. House worked well for us but we are outdoor people so really didn't spend much time inside. Kids were asking if we could come back before we got out of the driveway.

Love the area

House was wonderful! Lots of single steps between rooms which was very tricky. Outdoor shower great! Backyard area beautiful. The only disappointment was based on the info given we thought it was across from the lake. We knew we had to cross a street but we thought it was a lake view. It’s perpendicular to the lake so you have to step out to the street to see the lake and walk a short distance to get to the lake. Really close to the state park beach.

A quiet, beautiful Autumn weekend with family

Cleanliness and charm are the first words that come to mind! Our family of 6 had a perfect weekend at Silver Lake. The weather could not have been better which enabled us to enjoy the awesome backyard! Our grandkids LOVED the swing and we had a wonderful evening around the firepit. The whimsical lighting throughout the property added a magical touch! We utilized the well-equipped kitchen for an enjoyable dinner and breakfasts. The beds were comfy and the cottage was roomy enough for the 6 of us and the dog. Mid to late Oct is a great time to visit if you prefer some peace and quiet. Many places were closed but Open Hearth restaurant was open and we had the best Perch dinner there that I've had in a very long time. Bike riding on the Hart Trail was awesome! We were the only ones on the trail taking in the colors of Michigan. Hiked up some dunes to watch the sunset and went back the next day for a hike through the woods and along the River. Yup, a pretty perfect time! Maria was great to work with. Very responsive to my numerous questions before our trip. It's a short, 3 minute walk to the waterfront which would make it a nice summer destination as well.

Great comfortable house and property

We had a wonderful stay. Everything in the house from the beds, decorations and furnishings made us feel comfortable and at home. The backyard, with the lighting and fire pit were fantastic.
