Ski-in/out condo near lifts with a fireplace, pool, hot tub, & tennis

  • This ground-floor, ski-in/ski-out condo is located in the ever-popular Winterplace development, where it sits directly on the Lift Line ski trail at Okemo Mountain Resort. Returning home at the end of the day is easy - either ski down to Winterplace from the top or take the lift up from the base lodge area.

    Once you've returned home, there's much to enjoy. Stretch out on the sofa for some rest and relaxation. Warm up by the fireplace while a movie plays on the TV. Prepare meals together in the well-appointed kitchen.

    With seasonal community amenities that include an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and tennis and basketball courts, Winterplace is a wonderful spot to find both relaxation and adventure. There are two chair lifts that come up from the base lodge area and let out by Winterplace, while the trail leading back down to the base lodge from Winterplace is rated for beginners, making this a fantastic location for skiers of all skill levels.

Ski slopes were easy to access. Probably a 100 ft walk to the slopes. Convenient to a grocery store. Quiet area. Needs a good chefs knife as meal prep was a little tricky without it but really enjoyed staying here.

True Ski in/Ski out

Steps to the top of A Lift. Place is great. Only 2 of us used it this time, but have stayed in the past with a group of friends. Would stay there again.If it is snowing, make sure you have AWD or 4WD for the road to the condo.

Great location, property in need of updating.

We found this property to be amazingly convenient and overall, very comfortable. However, for the price, the property is very tired and in need of repair (closet and dresser doors off tracks, coffee maker basically broken), no corkscrew, no tissues. Not nearly as well supplied as other properties I've stayed at.

Great location. Just a few feet from top of Quad lift. Inside is dated. Furniture scratched. Fridge shelf broken. Dishwasher soap door missing. Light switch broken. Some games and puzzles there but all missing parts or pieces Well stocked kitchen (pots and dishes etc) but no cork screw Enjoyed our stay.

Winterplace Feb 2024

The unit was in a great location and the property manager was very helpful however it's in need of a couple repairs. There is only 1 thermostat in the living room & kids bunk room got very cold. Broken screen door handle in living room & broken shower handle in 2nd bedroom. Only disappointment was the owner was inflexible on early check-in with no exception for arrival before 4pm. I understand the situation however not allowing the incoming party to park at the unit a couple hours early seems unfair.

House was in great condition. Only improvemnet would be some additional cooking utensils notablly a measuring cup and some measuring spoons. other than that Kitchen was appointed well.

Clean and well equipped. Great location on the mountain right at the top of both Quad A&B. Quick stops for a drink or snack or just a bathroom break are quick and easy. We had a group up for customer entertainment purpose and it scored real high with the group.

Location great, property just OK

The best part of this property is the location. Proximity to the lifts that service green / bunny slope runs cannot be beat. However, I was somewhat disappointed with this rental. There was an alarm going off in one of the bedrooms that seemed to be coming from the exterior wall that lasted all day and all night for the entirety of our stay - three nights. I replied to a text message I received when we arrived that I needed to speak to someone - unanswered. I made two calls to the property manager - speaking to a customer service rep at the 800 number once and leaving a message, and then leaving another voicemail on the local number for the company. No one ever called me back. I ended up using a white noise app on my phone to help drown out the sound. Not the end of the world but the lack of communication was really frustrating. My family has stayed at multiple Winterplace condos over the last 5 years, and they are all different in terms of their updates / condition, but have usually been satisfactory. This particular unit showed significant signs of wear -a LOT f peeling paint in the bathrooms, a shower curtain stained pink with mold near the bottom of the curtain, hair in the shower when we arrived (really off putting), and kitchen pans that were in desperate need of replacement - one skillet had a handle falling off. We had four children utilizing the bunk beds, and both sets of bunks were very shaky and in need of some attention - even if just tightening the screws - to ensure safety. Overall, we had a great weekend with friends, but I do hope Vacasa takes note of the shortcomings - both with property and the housekeeping - and takes steps to improve them.

You can get to the main Sunburst 6 lift before they open up A B quads. I was almost able to snatch first chair on multiple occasions if it wasn't for this group of locals who are there probably 1hr before lifts open.Other sleeping arrangements: additional fold out in one of the bedrooms, extra twin roll away hidden under the little table between the 2 blue arm chairs, and the living room couch is a fold out.Note, some of the cabinetry in the kitchen and in the bathrooms is just a tad dated but very clean and in full working order. And this is not a complaint at all... just a bit of an FYI.Do bring your own salt, pepper, oil. Or just buy some at the supermarket down the road.My family and I had the most amazing time. We will be back 100% percent.
