Gîte Romy - Gîte avec piscine partagée

We welcome you to this former 17th-century silkworm farm, nestled in the heart of Provence, in the commune of Lussan, 15 km from the elegant Duchy of Uzès and 24 km from the Cévennes National Park. This charming gîte is 60 m² and can accommodate up to 4 travellers. It comprises a lovely 30 m² living room, an open-plan fitted kitchen, a lovely bedroom, a shower room (with shower), a 100 m² courtyard planted with trees, and a shared garden of around 200 m² with swimming pool and summer kitchen. Wifi (fibre optics), bed linen and towels included, we're waiting for you !

The accommodation comprises
- A 30 m² living room with two individual convertible sofas (120 cm), TV and dining area.
- An open-plan kitchen with appliances including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- One bedroom with king-size bed (180×200) and en-suite shower room with WC.

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: high chair, washing machine, plancha, fan, ironing board and iron.

Outside :
- A 100 m² courtyard planted with trees and furnished to make the most of fine weather.

Communal areas, shared with Gîte Pina :
- A saltwater swimming pool (7.50 x 3.50 m) open from May to September (dates not contractual). The pool is not heated in July and August.
- A summer kitchen with cooking utensils, table, chairs, electric griddle and gas hob.

Ideally located in Lussan, in very pleasant surroundings, you'll find rest, relaxation and the pleasure of dreaming in the cosy nest of this gîte and its wooded courtyard. Water and sunshine make life more beautiful !
Come and enjoy exceptional moments of relaxation beside a saltwater swimming pool, or in the shade of a summer kitchen, nestled in a forest setting...
Blue, green... relaxation and reverie, lulled by the song of birds of paradise... Picnics, barbecues, siestas or readings in the shade of the trees in a comfortable hammock, an aperitif, a dinner under the garland with friends by the pool illuminated by Klein blue photophores.
It's all about conviviality and elegance, and enjoying the peacefulness of this little corner far from the noise of the world.

Nearby, you can enjoy all the essential stores, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets...

Activities :
Take advantage of this ideally located resting place to explore Occitanie and discover its authentic villages bursting with charm! Explore Saint-Ambroix and its medieval castle ruins, Barjac and its ramparts, the characterful village of Lussan or Goudargues and its canal. The Gard region, from the Cévennes to the Camargue, offers rural landscapes with endemic vegetation and breathtaking panoramas. Visit numerous caves such as Traduc, Salamandre, Cocalière... Nîmes and the Musée de la Romanité, as well as the must-see sites in the Gard, the Bois des Species, the Camargue and the Salins du Midi, the Tour Carbonnière.... Many hiking trails start less than 100m from the house. Whether you're a lover of discovery, adventure or thrills, a Gard getaway is sure to satisfy !

Transportation :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the gîte's private parking lot, which can accommodate one vehicle.

For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful :
- Nearest train station : Alès train station, 30 minutes away by car.
- Nearest airport : Nîmes Alès airport, about 1 hour away by car.
A car is necessary to fully enjoy the region.

- A parent must be present when children are swimming. Swimming pool opening dates are non-contractual.

10 jours avec les cigales

Notre séjour a été excellent. Très bons contacts avec les propriétaires. Lieu idyllique. Piscine ombragée avec cuisine d'été pour y manger. Appartement naturellement frais, sans avoir besoin de climatiseur malgré la canicule. Par contre, mauvais point pour Abritel: je n'ai pas apprécié qu'Abritel nous écrive une fois sur deux en anglais.
