“Myself, my husband and son really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very charming, cozy, and clean. The owners (Paolo and his wife) were amazing and made us feel at home. The breakfast was homemade and very tasty. The location was also very convenient for taking the ferry to Hella, and we were lucky enough to see Orcas in the fjord from our room.”

“L'hotel si trova in una posizione bellissima. Si tratta di una struttura storica, molto caratteristica. Accoglienza gentile e disponibile. Noi avevamo una matrimoniale nella struttura separata, sono camere "economy" quindi più piccole e spartane, ma lo sapevamo quindi tutto ok. Consigliato.”

“Proprietà e personale gentilissimi. Camere ampie anche se un po’ datate. Ristorante curato e ottimo, assolutamente da provare. Nel complesso ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, considerando anche la eccellente colazione.”

“Soluzione più economica rispetto a Loen o paesi vicini. Posizione sul fiordo invidiabile ma personale poco cordiale e struttura un po’ vecchia rendono l’esperienza anonima e “di passaggio”. Camera spaziosa. Colazione sufficiente.”

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”
