Cottage a Lutsen

“Room was very clean and they had treats and a bed and bowls for our dog. Lot of parking and easy to get in and out. Great restaurant across the street.”

“Stayed here for a short honeymoon and my favorite part was the lake view and hot tub! The fireplace was so cozy on a chilly rainy night. Also, the pool room was empty when we used it so that was awesome.”

“Perfect for a much needed break. Amazing view of Lake Superior and only 20 minutes from Grand Marais. Full kitchen and charcoal grill included. Clean and cozy.”

“Clean, comfortable and nice staff. Lacking amenities (no pool, hot tub, restaurants on site or nearby), and in-room extras. View from patio was gorgeous but no privacy from next door rooms.”

“The views from the property are outstanding. The Bluefin Grille restaurant is convenient. Good food and a great staff.”

“We had a great time here and love the place. It's unique. Super close walk to town. Comfortable and clean. Everything was booked and someone must have canceled and I swooped in on it and I'm so glad that happened. It was nice to try a new unexpected place. We definitely will go back. I was a bit worried when I saw it was pet friendly. I have pets, not with on this trip, but don't know how others care for theirs so I thought maybe it would have a pet odor or not be the cleanest. But that wasn't...

“Molto gentile il personale, sufficente la colazione. Struttua ottimamente posizionata ma in uno stato piuttosto degradato con odore di muffa e segni di poca manutenzione ovunque”

“Nasty beds and room, cleaning staff did not clean the room”

“The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!”

“This property is amazing! It’s our second time staying at Halsnoy Haven and we plan to make it “the” place we come back to each year. The place and lake views are stunning and Paul is responsive and cares a lot about your experience. The attention to detail (manual with tips on what to do and where to go), cleanliness, and high quality amenities are second to none. This place has become our standard that we compare other places to, yet nothing has compared to Halsnoy!”

“Everything was perfect and clean”

“Gorgeous property, every single detail was thought out and perfectly executed. Cozy bed, slept like a baby. Delicious coffee, grinder and french press available to use. Nice, reponsive owners and management. We will be back no question.”

“We loved our stay in this spacious secluded home! The renters were very communicative and responsive. The only two negative things were the electronic door lock battery died so we couldn't lock the door when we went out exploring and the arcade machine had no sound despite using the YouTube how to video. We were so pleased with our stay, we may book this place annually for our Northshore trip.”
