“Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel.”

“Nice modern hotel. Allocated a disabled room for some reason with low clothes rail and seat in the shower. It was all ok but nothing amazing. Bed adequate but mattress a little on the thin and could feel the springs. Was disappointed no parking space but was my fault I didn’t study the booking moor so had to park a 5 min walk down the road. A bit frustrating going to collect the car in the morning with bags etc. Breakfast reasonably good. A bit of everything but not masses of choice - however...

“The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful”
