“First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand. The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. Probably the most basic stay I've ever had but not bad at all, you get what you pay for. Dealing with Marta was a delight, great...

“The Shed ist ein entzückendes Ferienhaus im Grünen. Alles da, was man braucht. Sauber. Auf uns wartete ein Schokoladenkuchen als liebe Willkommensgeste. Wunderbarer Blick durch große Fenster, die Alleinlage perfekt für Menschen, die Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit suchen. Für uns der Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die herrliche Gegend. Unser Hund wollte nicht ins Auto steigen, als wir wegfuhren…er liebte das Gelände so sehr wie wir.”

“The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

“Beautiful cottage in a very scenic peaceful town. The property has all the amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay. We loved the town of Painswick. It’s very friendly and scenic here. They have a tesco close by to cover your grocery needs. Sean was very generous in stocking up the fridge with breakfast items and pastries! We would love to revisit this property and town again ”

“Very clean and comfortable. All you need in kitchen equipment. Large supermarket not far away. Only thing we could get was a phone signal but we used the WiFi instead.”
