Guest house a Lymington

“Great breakfast choices and hot food cooked to order.”

“Really lovely place, great food, beautiful for coeliacs, room was nice”

“Had a lovely weekend at the Oak Tree Rooms, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure was excellent. Paulina and Bruno were very accommodating and let drop off my bag before check in and leave it there after check out. The garden was lovely to hang out in after a long day of hiking. Would happily recommend this to anyone - especially if traveling by train as it’s very close to the station.”

“If I had to run an hotel - this would be it! Every aspect was excellent!”

“Very clean and tidy, breakfast was great and the hosts very friendly! The room was a little small and the remote control was a little sticky.”

“Lovely venue”

“A nice room and good location for public transport into Southampton by Train or Bus. Convenient Co-Op and choice of take away food shops. I felt that some small changes would have raised my score, including: Toilet Seat properly fixed. Sufficient crockery and cutlery for 2 people, including glasses, desert spoons (there were none) dinner plates. TV (there is an aerial socket) Toaster Small changes, make a big difference.”

“First of all, there was no staff or anyone to welcome you. We reserved a room with a private bath, and when we arrived we had been assigned a different room with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom available was filthy and the linoleum was coming off the floor. The bedroom was dirty as well and the beds were like cots, horrible mattresses. We tried to reach property owner with no avail. They never responded to any of our inquiries. Within 15 mins, we booked a room at local hotel and left...

“John the Landlord is very kind and available. ”

“We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular.”

“Nothing interesting about the place, fridge in room not working”

“Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. It feels more like a bedsit or HMO than proper guest accommodation. The rooms smell strongly of mould and...
