Woodfearn - confortevole cottage a 4 letti a Sway

Woodfearn è un cottage confortevole e spazioso per 7 persone in una posizione eccellente, a pochi minuti a piedi dai servizi del villaggio e dalla foresta aperta.

Il cottage si trova in una stradina tranquilla a pochi passi dal villaggio di Sway con il suo negozio di alimentari, macelleria, farmacia, gastronomia e due accoglienti pub. Oltre il villaggio ci sono chilometri di percorsi pedonali e ciclabili attraverso boschi aperti e brughiere.

Il cottage ha una camera matrimoniale, una doppia con un letto estraibile per gli ospiti e due camere singole. C'è un bagno, un bagno con doccia e un WC aggiuntivo. La cucina è in stile tradizionale con elettrodomestici moderni ed è completamente attrezzata. Vi è un ampio soggiorno che conduce a un giardino d'inverno soleggiato con molti posti a sedere comodi. All'altra estremità del soggiorno c'è una grande scrivania e una zona lettura.

All'esterno c'è un ampio patio con tavolo e sedie e gradini che conducono ad un giardino completamente recintato con prato e arbusti. Di fronte si trova un parcheggio fuori strada per due auto.



La stazione ferroviaria di Sway è una fermata sulla linea locale da Brockenhurst, dove ci sono treni veloci per Londra, Bournemouth e Southampton.

Su strada è a breve distanza in auto dai famosi villaggi di New Forest di Brockenhurst (3 miglia), Burley (6 miglia), Lyndhurst (7 miglia) e la vivace città costiera di Lymington (4 miglia) oltre a numerose belle spiagge.

Beautiful stay

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of space for us all. The large garden was perfect for our 2 dogs and very secure. Beautiful area with lovely walks just outside the village. Would recommend, as a lovely peaceful stay. Many Thanks Helen

Forest stream and beach break

Lovely comfortable property with plenty of space for young children, parents and Granny. Kitchen diner/ utility formed the heart of the home with good cooking facilities. Good bathrooms and bedrooms.

Right in the heart of the new forest

We spent 3 nights here over easter weekend Plenty of room for 4 adults (one in a wheel chair ) and 2 small dogs The property is right in the heart of the new forest And close to beautiful beach of Milford on sea lovely walks, Plus local shops just up the road Extremely comfortable every thing you will need in the house And bonus of a beautiful garden We were very lucky with the weather Highly recommended place to stay

Sway Rental August

Lovely, spacious property. Nice outdoor area in back garden with conservatory. Good facilities such as a dishwasher, washing machine and drier. Very well-equipped with both utensils to cleaning products to games and TV/video.Great umbrella shower and crisp, clean bed linen. Situated well as easy to get to Lymington to the ferry for the Isle of Wight, Highcliffe beach and there is a train-line to Bournemouth and Southampton. The only thing which needs improving is the garden chairs as they were a bit dodgy and need checking. We didn't actually have to have any communication with the owner but all access/ TV/WiFi and washing machine info was all easily accessible which was brilliant. Would definitely rent this property again. Highly recommended.

Our second stay

Large, comfortable, well equipped house with a very helpful owner in a great location for seeing the New Forest and coast. We stayed a couple of years ago and couldn’t find anything better when we wanted to come to The New Forest again this year with our baby and 2 year old so we had a second enjoyable stay here.

Nice location, beds very comfy. Found quite a lot of the double glazing hard to open and shut. Two of the bedroom doors would not close and kept banging open and shut whenever we had a window open which was very annoying. A full size ironing board and some more pegs would have been useful as well as there was only a small table top ironing board. Great place to stay to explore the new forest.

Great family accommodation

Lovely spacious property in a quiet neighbourhood but in the heart of the forest and about 20 minutes to the sea. Good local pub within walking distance. This house needs a little maintenance and has a nostalgic 80’s feel to it, though the appliances are very up-to-date. It is very comfortable and has a lovely outdoor dining area and beautifully planted rear garden full of unusual bushes, shrubs and flowers. We ranged in age from 9 months to 90 years and all of us loved it here. Thank you Helen for a perfect family break.

Hideaway in Sway!

It was a lovely sized property in a great location for walking and visiting the area. It had all we needed in terms of facilities and was very comfortable. Helen was helpful regarding any questions we had beforehand and when we needed extra help with a problem on our day of leaving was happy to help. We would definitely recommend Woodfearn.
