“Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended..”

“Clean and comfortable. Made very welcome. Shower is lovely. Room was very warm even with radiator turned down, as I was on ground floor couldn't really have windows open at night. Bit disappopinted milk and bottled water not replenished or bin emptied. ”

“We arrived early at about 10:30 and were allowed to leave our car while we explored Kendal. When we got back around 14:30 our room was ready so we went in and settled in. My wife has an issue with onions her meal did contain onions despite being told they’d be excluded.
It would have useful to know we could use the pool prior to checking in. ”

“Very clean and smart room. Public areas are all very well kept and very nicely decorated with plenty of character. There is a very smart homely atmosphere. All the staff have been very friendly and professional. There was a maintenance problem, which couldn’t be resolved, but a suitable option was offered immediately - which we were happy with.
Evening meal was very nice - a little pricey, but to be expected at a hotel in the Lake District. The gentleman running the bar (from Glasgow) was...
