“The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!”

“If I could give this place negative star rating I would. When I booked this hotel online I rather reviews than 20 minutes later. I attempted to cancel my reservation only to be offered a 50% refund per the hotel policy. I decided to try this hotel the first room that they put me in did not have a fitted sheet on the mattress. It just had a flat sheet folded over the top half. They went to bring me a fitted sheet and we noticed there was ants everywhere all over the floor. They moved us to a room...

“Had to take out my own trash, had to ask for towels , toliot was not working when I checked in it was plugged so if the toliot was cleaned that day , it would of been noticed it did not flush .overall very dissatisfied Will never ever stay there again . Its sad the customer service is no longer a thing”

“The place has a great price value ratio, the staff at the reception could be friendlier but the not-too-welcoming communication style was similar across Mackinaw City so it might not be the hotel’s fault. The place has excellent location, right at the port to Mackinac Island, free parking and buffet breakfast. Overall, I recommend it.”

“The beach view was wonderful! Room was clean, beds were comfortable enough, and A/C worked well. A quite decent stay for those on a budget even with a few maintenance items that should be addressed. The door to the room had a considerable gap at the bottom allowing light and the elements in. Some mold and old caulk in the bathroom, as well as the hairdryer that shorted out mid-use.”
