The hotel is on great location.The aerobus,public bus is located a minute from reception.The staff is beyond great.The pool,fitness,play room ... all good.We will come back the next time we visit Madeira.

Ben strutturato, con ampi spazi interni ed esterni
Splendida vista sul mare, piscina grande e curata così come l'ampio giardino. Colazione varia ed abbondante, cena a buffet apprezzabile anche nel costo. Alcune lacune nella pulizia delle stanze e nella biancheria da bagno (asciugamani non di buona qualità). Al piano primo e terra permane nei corridoi l'odore della cucina. Personale gentilissimo. Struttura comunque da consigliare

WE bello in un posto di pieno relax
E' stato un WE molto bello in un albergo della catena Pestana dove ho già soggiornato qualche anno fa albergo molto bello confortevole tranquillo con camere spaziose pulite e con un bellissimo panorama la reception perfetta colazione ottima ci ritornerò

Ottimo hotel buona posizione sul mare
Hotel molto bello, curato e con eccellente servizio. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Bella posizione con stupenda vista sul mare. Il centro di Funchal è raggiungibile anche a piedi, anche se non è vicinissimo. La fermata dell'autobus si trova a 20 metri dall'albergo. Assolutamente consigliabile. Isola stupenda con tantissime cose da vedere e un clima piacevolissimo.

Spettacolare affaccio sull'Oceano
Veramente ottima esperienza: affaccio sull'Oceno, albergo nuovissimo, quartiere ben servito con ottimi ristoranti nella zona e lidi per piacevoli bagni nell'oceano. Comodo collegamento con il centro città con fermata autobus appena fuori dall'albergo.

Ottimo hotel che consiglieremmo a coppie adulte
L'hotel e' in una posizione eccellente, e' architettonicamente molto gradevole ed offre servizi di svago quali palestra,sauna,bagno turco,vasche Jacuzzi e piscina riscaldata molto apprezzabili. Il nostro soggiorno # marito e moglie adulti # e' stato fatto in Gennaio 2013 e l'unica osservazione critica che potremmo fare riguarda il servizio ristorante che per le poche persone che hanno scelto la 1/2 pensione # stranamente solo circa il 10% dei presenti # era alternativamente a buffet e alla carte ma con una scelta non proprio abbondante. A ns.parere il livello della cucina era buono # voto 7 su 10 # ma si puo' fare di meglio sia nella varieta' che nella presentazione dei piatti per invogliare le persone a rimanere.

l'hotel soffre di un difetto di progettazione: 2 ascensori servono quasi 250 camere! in qs. periodo di bassa stagione c'e' la fila x usare i lift. figuratevi in alta stagione!!inoltre il sistema tel. permette di utilizzare, premendo lo zero dalla propria camera, carte tel. prepagate. peccato che mi sono poi ritrovato con € 47,00 da pagare!! la stessa tel. e' stata addebitata dal gestore tel. e dall'hotel. e' stato solo dopo vibranti mie contestazioni che la direzione ha accettato di nn addebitarmi quella cifra. ma qs. giochetto nn mi e' piaciuto.....inoltre la primacolazione e' molto povera. mai visto in 2 sett. una papaya o un mango.eppure sull'isola nn mancano di certo.

Fantastisk dejligt hotel. Havde den fornøjelse at blive opgraderet grundet min personlighed. Dejlig morgenmad med meget dejligt skåret frugt. Meget venlig og smilende personer i receptionen. Havde en speciel connection der. Det så afgjordt et hotel jeg ville komme på igen. Eneste anke er at sengen kunne føles en anelse hård, men det opvejede alt det andet.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Pestana Promenade! The rooms are lovely and spacious. The only thing that bugged me was the big arch blocking our view of the sea partially. A few rooms have this problem. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning ladies who do a wonderful job and are very kind. Amazing staff in the restaurant as well! Thank you Pestana, we will be returning for sure!😀

This was our second stay at the hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Every member of staff, no matter what their role, were exceptional. They were professional, yet friendly, and always able to help. They went out of their way to ensure my parents were happy with their vegetarian needs, and spent much time helping us choose our tours. The Island tours are a fantastic way to see everything, or you can get a bus outside the hotel into Funchal then to whenever you need. We found the taxis were reasonably priced too. The hotel outdoor and indoor pools were great, as well as the spa services. All set in beautiful grounds with easy access to the promenade. Breakfast had ample variety with so many bread choices, pastries, an omlette station, fresh fruit, ham, cheses etc. Some nights had fun entertainment with Madeiran dancers and BBQ, good Singers and a quality Karaoke night. The bartenders were happy to make you any cocktail if they had the ingredients, in addition to their extensive list. Our room had a huge super king bed and awesome seaview from our 6th floor balcony. Once again, what made the two weeks were the wonderful staff. It was great to see the Hotel Manager helping the staff and he was always friendly. We particularly want to thank Salomé & Flipe (our favourites), Lina, Tito and Rui in Reception; Fatima, Ana, Tania, Ivone, Claudia and Andrew in the restaurant. Them and others really made time to speak with us and help us have the best time. Thank you again.

The dining options were a disappointment. After our first buffet dinner was poorly done we chose to only eat our prepaid breakfast onsight. Internet in the room was extremely unreliable and my husband had to go to the business center to use his laptop. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant. While outdated, the rooms were clean.

Be careful while booking this property. The property does not offer double/Queen beds as advertised on some booking sites. Property has nice views with a good pool. Location is a bit far to the center if you're expecting to walk. Rooms are spacious but seem a bit outdated and beds are not comfortable. Amenities closing hours are quite early. Hotel seems to be likened by much older age group. You would expect better service for the price you pay. Property has lots of potential but seems owners don't want to invest in it. I do not recommend this place.

Én uge på hotellet, uge 7 2023. Et fantastisk fint ophold, uden nogen form for anledning til klager. Suveræn beliggenhed, med fuld 180 graders udsigt over oceanen. Pools, Spa med sauna og dampbad, badekåber var inklusive. Morgenmaden var fuldstændig i top, der var ikke noget der manglede, og kvaliteten helt i top. Særdeles venligt personale, som havde evnen til at føle dig hjemme. Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet! Hilsen A&B.

Staff are amazing at this place. So helpful, so caring, honestly I was so happy staying here. It is a little worn in places and the double bed was two singles smushed together, but I enjoyed myself and had fun. I would come again.

Dejligt hotel
Rigtig dejligt hotel, utrolig god service og fantastisk poolområde. Eneste minus er, det er tilladt at ryge på altanerne. Hvilke medførte, vi måtte have altandøren lukket aften og morgen, da vores nabo røg meget og det kom ind i væres værelse. Morgenmaden er super, med et meget stort udvalg. Der er ca 40 minutters gang til havnen, men masser at se på, på vejen derned.

The Initial rooms that were offered were totally unfit for purpose. Labeled as Promenade view they should not be used as sleeping rooms more suitable for shops.

Promenade room was extremely itsy-bitsy and noisy. There is plenty of 4* hotels nearby with bigger rooms. When the balcony windows are closed you may feel that you are staying in the basement storage room. Not for the people with the irrational fear of confined spaces. And no privacy when the windows are open. Breakfast was okay. The service was efficient, the greeting desk and concierge were friendly.
