Magnifica villa di linee moderne, immerse in un terreno con giardino è costituito da alberi da frutto, querce secolari e che beneficiano di una grande esposizione al sole.
La costruzione è recente, utilizzando materiali di buona qualità, mettendo in evidenza la funzionalità e la comodità così come una grande luce all'interno.
Dispone di tre camere da letto con bagno privato e un bagno in comune, ampia sala comune, arredata e con TV Led, cucina attrezzata con tutti gli utensili ed elettrodomestici necessari, lavanderia, barbecue e garage.
E 'situato in un posto molto calmo e tranquillo, servito da accesso alla città e collegamenti con l'autostrada.
Ha una splendida vista sia sulle montagne, come il mare, è il luogo ideale per gli amanti della natura e della tranquillità.
Si segnala inoltre che la macchina, siamo a soli 10 minuti dal campo da golf di Santo da Serra, Madeira 10 minuti, sette minuti dall'autostrada ea 5 minuti dal centro di Santa Cruz.

Amazing Stay

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at Casa Luz. It is a beautiful home with everything needed for an amazing holiday. The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely with spectacular views of the garden and valley. Marta and Jose are very attentive, lovely hosts, checking in and out was super convenient. It is conveniently located to many sites and attractions.The ride up the hill is exciting so an automatic car is recommended.

Viel Platz für Zwei

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt vom 16.04. bis 23.04.2024. Die Aussicht ist schön. Das Haus ist 10 Autominuten vom Flughafen entfernt am oberen Ende von Santa Cruz. Durch die wenigen Flugbewegungen am Tag, ist Fluglärm jedoch kein Thema. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist nichts für ängstliche Fahrer, da teilweise sehr steil. Das Einzige was uns gefehlt hat, waren brauchbare Gartenmöbel mit Sitzkissen. Es gibt zwar Holzbänke und Klappstühle, aber nichts bequemes zum draußen Sitzen, wenn man deutsche Maßstäbe ansetzt. Die Vermieterin, Marta, gestattet das Pflücken von Bananen und Zitronen aus dem kleinen Garten. Und ganz besonders liebenswert: eine kleine, braune, verschmuste, verfressene und völlig verflöhte Hündin, die uns mehrmals täglich besucht hat. Insgesamt ist das Haus uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Wunderbares Hsus

Ein wunderbares, grosses modernes Haus: auf dem Bergkammm gelegen mit Blick in die Berge und aufs Meer. Die umlaufende Terrasse (immer Sonne/Schatte) und das sehr grosszügige Wohnzimmer bringen Entspannung. Der Induktionsherd wertet die Küche auf. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir hoffen, demnächst wieder.

Simply the best in Madeira

I cannot emphasise what an AMAZING time we had in Madeira at Villa Luz. The views from the villa were breathtaking….the villa was huge and impeccably clean. Marte and Jose were the best hosts we could gave hoped for. Marte speaks fluent English and Jose speaks very well too (much better than my Portuguese!) Jose met us at our car hire place so we could follow him to the villa for the first time, thank you Jose (you do need a car for this villa if you plan to explore). Marte and Jose also took us to the supermarket for our first shop, just what we needed. Marte gave us lots of tips and advice for our stay, nothing was too much trouble. I won’t lie, the hills are steep in places (all over the island if go away from the coast) and a bit scary at first but you get used to it and there is very little traffic on the roads in this area so you can take your time. This villa is ideal if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal and want a perfect base to explore this beautiful island. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Luz and we will be back asap….can’t wait!

Fantastische Aussicht

Die Anfahrt ist - wie für Madeira durchaus üblich - ein Abenteuer für sich, welches sich aber lohnt. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch, sowohl auf das Meer als auch in das Tal an dem die Wohnung liegt. Marta versorgt einen mit hilfreichen Tipps und Empfehlungen, z.B. eine entspanntere Route als Alternative zur Google Maps "der kürzeste Weg ist der beste Weg"-Route. Flugzeuge hört man keine, aber keine Sorge, der Hahn sorgt dafür das man nicht verschläft ;) tl;dr: Super Aussicht, freundliche Gastgeber, sehr zu Empfehlen

We were met by the owner Marta who very kindly walked us thru' the accomodation and explained the in's & out's for us. The property was lovely and very spacious for 2 and could very easily take more. Every thing was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Marta kept in contact to make sure we were ok and even suggested some trips. If we return to Madeira, we will certainly try to re-book this property. Marta even came to see us off on the last morning. Highly, highly recommended accomodation.

Das Haus ist riesig, sehr gepflegt und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Da die Terrasse nahezu einmal um das Haus rum geht, hat man immer die Möglichkeit einen Schatten-/Sonnenplatz zu finden. Die Kommunikation lief einwandfrei und sehr freundlich! Die Anfahrt ist für Madeira normal und mit ein wenig Übung und Mut problemlos. Alles in allem zu 100% zu empfehlen!

Breathtaking Views

Nothing can really prepare you for how breathtaking the views are from Villa Luz. The altitude is disorienting whether you're looking at the vast open ocean to the south or the deep valley to the west with terraced farms and gorgeous homes. We hiked the levada which is adjacent to the property for about two miles, mostly level. Good restaurants are 8 minutes away, either down in Santa Cruz or, our preference, Santo da Serra. The interior of the home is large and very comfortable. Marta and Jose were perfect hosts, full of good information, and nearby in case we had any needs. When I return to Madeira I'm staying here again.

Traumhaftes Haus

Das schöne, sehr große Haus liegt herrlich am Hang mit einem sagenhaften Blick zum Meer und in die Natur. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Martha (Vermieterin) ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie brachte uns mehrfach leckeres, frisches Obst vorbei. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Betten sind super bequem. Es gibt keine Heizung. Aber man kann gegen eine Gebühr eine kleine Elektroheizung dazu bekommen. Wir haben keine Heizung gebraucht. Es gibt 4 großzügige Bäder mit Dusche, Duschgel, vielen Handtüchern und ausreichend Toilettenpapier.

Fabulous villa with the most helpful Hosts

Marta and Jose are very generous hosts . The villa has such amazing views and facilities that we would throughly recommend it. Marta so kindly came tothe airport to show us the way to the villa which helped us very much overcome our anxiety about driving the hills of Madeira. We loved the amazing views, luxuries of the villa and the fresh mountain air. The fruits from their organic farm which is close by were so flavoursome we brought some back home. Marta also helped us with booking our return covid test close by. Without a doubt Madeira and Villa Luz is the best place to holiday during these covid times.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Ferienwohnung und der Lage. Es ist Erholung pur. Viel Platz und ein großartiger Ausblick. Die Vermieter Marta und José sind unglaublich gastfreundlich und wirklich sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir kommen gerne jeder Zeit wieder. PS. Die Nähe zum Flughafen ist kein Problem. Es ist eher spannend. Man nimmt es kaum war.

Coming to where it all started

Have to say start out by saying what great host Jose and Marta were. Great communication through the entire process. This was a trip 2 years in the making and they were instrumental in making sure it went of without a hitch. The trip was an effort to come to the home of our grandparents to see were they were born and raised. They offered to come and pick us up at the airport for no charge, Jose was gracious enough to take us to the grocery store upon our arrival and wait for us. House was immaculate and very well kept. Surrounding area was quite and soothing. Access to transportation was plentiful and simple to arrange. There were five people in our group and still had plenty of room at the house. If your going to stay for any length of time, renting a car might be a good option. Marta was very accessible and informative about the area. She was also a godsend when it came to assisting with our exit COVID test. We were having issues basically due to the language difference and she was willing to contact them on our behalf and help us in getting it scheduled. Viel Platz für Ruhe und Erholung

Das Haus hat wirklich viel Platz, 3 separate Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad/WC plus 4. Bad/WC, großes Wohnzimmer, geräumige Küche und im Anbau Waschmaschine und großer Grill; Sonnenterrasse mit Liegestühlen und Tisch. Marta und Jose, die Vermieter, sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bezüglich der Anfahrt: die meisten umliegenden Straßen wurden gerade frisch asphaltiert und sind gut befahrbar. Das Steilstück lässt sich auch mit Kleinwagen im 1. Gang und Klimaanlage aus(!) gut bewältigen. Es gibt auf Madeira viele ähnlich steile Straßen... Wir haben uns hier 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt.

Superbe maison

La maison est superbe et totalement conforme aux photos et au descriptif. C'est très spacieux, salles de bain dans chaque chambre, très grand salon et une terrasse immense avec vue sur la mer ainsi que la vallée environnante. Marta et José sont des hôtes très sympathiques, toujours prêts à vous rendre service si besoin. Ils sont d'ailleurs venus nous chercher à 2h du matin à l’aéroport suite à un souci d'avion. En résumé, une location superbe à recommander!!

tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage

Unsere Sorge wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen war völlig unbegründet. Wenn überhaupt, kann man ab und zu den Start der Flugzeuge für sehr kurze Zeit hören. Da das Haus direkt an einem Taleinschnitt mit fantastischer Aussicht liegt (vom Flughafen abgewandt), waren die Hunde und Hühner der umliegenden Häuser deutlich lauter. Allerdings sollte man sich für die Anfahrt mit einem Mietauto nicht unbedingt das schwächste Modell aussuchen, denn auch die "flache" Straße birgt eine sehr steile Passage. Unser gemieteter Opel Adam schaffte die Auffahrt laut Navi (steile Variante) mit drei Personen und Gepäck beim ersten Mal leider nicht, sodass wir aussteigen mussten. Ohne Gepäck und mit einem bisserl Übung ging es dann aber. Die Vermieter sind super nett und haben uns gleich mit ein paar sehr guten Tipps für besondere Veranstaltungen versorgt. Danke nochmal hierfür. Diese hätten wir sonst wohl nicht erlebt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Man kann hier also tatsächlich gut kochen. Auch stehen in der Küche grundsätzlich Dinge wie Salz, Pfeffer, Gewürze, Öl usw. zur Verfügung. Diese werden auch von den Vermietern regelmäßig kontrolliert, so dass keine abgelaufenen Lebensmittel vorhanden sind. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit dort und werden wohl nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein.

Wonderful place for a holiday

This is a great house with fantastic views. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and Martha speaks English very well. The house was very clean and the rooms are huge. Anybody staying in the winter or early spring should consider paying for heating, as it is not included.

Villa Luz hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Das Haus ist großzugig und hat alles, was man braucht und auf der Terasse kann man sowohl den Meeresblick als auch die Berge genießen. Marta und José sind sehr nette Vermieter. Alles war wirklich unkompliziert, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus von Marta und Jose liegt auf ca. 500 m Höhe. Die Sicht geht einerseits auf den Atlantik, andererseits in die Berge. Es liegt direkt an einem kleinen Levada. Die Anfahrt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig: steile Straßen, bei denen man sich wirklich fragt, ob es noch weitergeht. Nicht umsomst bieten Marta und Jose an, die Urlauber vom Flughafen abzuholen. Der liegt übrigens in Sichtweite und mit dem Auto nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, ist aber nicht zu hören. Man kann die Flugzeuge von oben beim Landeanflug beobachten. Das Haus selber ist sehr groß und sauber. Es hat zwei separate Schlafzimmer, ein riesiges Wohnzommer, drei WCs und drei Duschen. Es gibt einen Anbau mit Grill, der gut gelüftet sein will. Die Küche ist ebenfalls groß und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Kaffemaschine könnte größer sein. Man kann rund um das Haus herum gehen, und je nach Wetter- und Windverhältnissen sich einen sonnigen oder schattigen und windstillen Ort suchen. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man an dem Levada eine kleine Wanderung beginnen. Marta und Jose sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Jose zeigte mir eine Reihe von interessanten Orten, die den Urlaub bereichern können. Ledier erst am letzten Tag. Tipp: ihn fragen, wo man eine Levadawanderung beginnen kann. Wäsche und Handtücher werden wöchentlich gewechselt.
