  • Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, è decorato a tema orso. Questo cottage romanticismo è dotato di una vasca idromassaggio.

    Originariamente la fattoria di Maggie Setzer, per la quale è stata nominata la Maggie Valley, la terra che si trova in Mountain Joy è un posto speciale. Rimarrai incantato dal suo fascino di montagna, atmosfera familiare e carattere. Offriamo tutti i comfort moderni che ti aspetteresti con l'accesso e il ritiro tutto l'anno che pochissimi possono offrire.

    Godetevi la tranquilla campagna dei nostri cottage. Abbiamo cottage con una, due e quattro camere da letto tutte dotate di caminetti a legna, TV via cavo, internet e cucine pronte per cucinare un pasto fatto in casa. All'esterno i porticati hanno sedie a dondolo in modo da poter gustare il caffè del mattino o godersi il tramonto sulle montagne la sera. La nostra piscina all'aperto chiusa in vetro (stagionale) offre un luogo delizioso per rilassarsi.

    I Mountain Joy Cottages occupano una posizione centrale nel cuore della Maggie Valley, a solo un isolato da Setzer Cove Road, con facile accesso a tutte le attrazioni della zona. Siamo a pochi minuti dalla Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway e dal Great Smoky Mountains National Park. L'area è ricca di negozi di artigianato, antiquariato e articoli da regalo. I grandi spazi aperti offrono passeggiate a cavallo, campi da golf in zona, corsi di pesca alla trota in torrenti, rafting e percorsi panoramici. Our three day stay was very pleasant. We found the cabin clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin was convenient to the main road.

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Cabin

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Bear cabin

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

The trees from the porch was blocking most of the view. The bed was hard not enough hot water. There were also spider webs in the bathroom right around the window. I have to say it was in a good location close to everything.

Good just needs some better cleaning

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin isn’t a bad place but you could use a better cleaning crew. There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

Do not use anything without washing. One show door is off the track and cannot be moved. Dust hangs off the wall behind the bed in clumps.

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.……the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.

The Mountain Cottages

Beautiful place. Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch seeing the pond and ducks. This morning we saw two Elks that came right up to the back porch where we were. Enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back.
