MOUNTAIN JOY COTTAGES # 4 - FARFALLA

Mountain Joy Cottage # 4, Butterfly, è un 4 camere da letto, 2 cottage bagno che può ospitare 12. Il cottage ha un ponte superiore, inferiore e posteriore per godere.

Originariamente la fattoria di Maggie Setzer, per la quale è stata nominata la Maggie Valley, la terra che si trova in Mountain Joy è un posto speciale. Diventerai incantato con il suo fascino di montagna, l'atmosfera familiare e il carattere. Offriamo tutti i comfort moderni che ti aspetteresti con l'accesso e il ritiro tutto l'anno che pochissimi possono offrire.

Godetevi la tranquilla campagna dei nostri cottage. Abbiamo una, due, quattro e cinque camere da letto tutte dotate di caminetti a legna, TV via cavo, internet e cucine pronte a cucinare un pasto fatto in casa. All'esterno i porticati hanno sedie a dondolo in modo da poter gustare il caffè del mattino o godersi il tramonto sulle montagne la sera. La nostra piscina all'aperto chiusa in vetro (stagionale) offre un luogo delizioso per rilassarsi.



I Mountain Joy Cottages occupano una posizione centrale nel cuore della Maggie Valley, a solo un isolato da Setzer Cove Road, con facile accesso a tutte le attrazioni della zona. Siamo a pochi minuti dalla Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway e dal Great Smoky Mountains National Park. L'area è ricca di negozi di artigianato, antiquariato e articoli da regalo. I grandi spazi aperti offrono passeggiate a cavallo, campi da golf in zona, corsi di pesca alla trota in torrenti, rafting e percorsi panoramici. Sci da neve e tubi è disponibile per tutta la famiglia a Cataloochee Ski Area. La vita notturna include tutto, dal Jazz al Bluegrass, l'intasamento o l'intrattenimento serale. Le nostre case sono a breve distanza dalla Great Smoky Mountain Railway, dalla Biltmore Estate ad Asheville, dalla Cherokee Indian Reservation e dal Harrah's Casino e dal centro storico di Waynesville.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful quiet place to land. So much to see and do from this location.Cabin has a large great room well furnished. We sat on the comfy porch and watched the sunrise and to our surprise an ELK walked right in front of us, ate everything he could reach on the apple tree and sautered off to the pond and disappeared into the woods!

One guest found note in bed that read "if you are reading this your sheets have not been changed".There were cobwebs in corners and worms crawling in floor.Porches had leaves piled up in corners. Looked like had not been cleaned from last fall. Had cabin been cleaned I would recommend it. Good location and nice surroundings.

We rented cabin 4 and took our grandchildren, my sister and her children, and my parents on vacation. This rental was ideal for this multi-generational vacation. The kids had plenty to do. We were able to take them all fishing. The cabin was beautiful and any issues that arose the people at Carolina Vacations was there immediately to fix them. From our cabin porch my grandchildren were able to see Elk, ducks, a crane, a rabbit and her baby. This was truly a dream come true. I see this being our vacation destination for many years to come.

The kitchen was very very dirty. I washed everything before we used it!The “fireplace “ was a portable heater in one of the bedrooms. Ceiling fans very dusty! Garbage left from past guests on porch and overflowing in garbage can outside cabin. Never picked up during our 6 day stay!Freezer had maybe melted ice cream in it and some black stuff. I didn’t know what that was. I would NOT recommend this to anyone!

Family fun

The house was nice and neat . A older home but full of charm . Clean and well stocked . The only thing I can say negative was the lack of parking. We had 4 motorcycle and the drive was to small to get all in and the house next door to get out .

Very misleading listing! Limited pictures for a reason!

This is a cabin in a village of other cabins right on top of you, it's not a private pool, it does not sleep 12, practically sleeps 9, could do 10. It was NOT clean on arrival and even when they came back out to clean it was not up to par. Very dusty, cobwebs, sheets had hair and dust on them, floor had spots and dust balls. Bring your own blankets, bottom floor was freezing despite heat. Upstairs furniture leaves a lot to be desired. Very misleading listing. Now I understand why there's no pictures of pool, outside of cabin, etc. And they're considering 1 bunk bed to be "2" because it has 2 mattresses, top and bottom. There's not actually 2 bunk beds. There's three queens in their own rooms and then a room with a bunk bed, and a twin bed with a trundle under but if you use the trundle everyone else in the room is trapped in their beds or has to walk on the trundle to get out.
