“Great location in Mahone Bay. Welcoming owners, nice rooms. Shared bathroom but that is expected in a B&B. Easy walking to restaurants and around town. Nice continental breakfast (we had fresh cooked croissants). Only complaint was lack of plugs/charing ports in room (had to unplug TV to access a plug).”

“The Homeport Motel is nothing fancy. A good clean motel. Located about 15 minutes from the main pier and shops and restaurants. Quiet with comfy beds. Tim Hortons and NSLC within walking distance. We would stay again.”

“When booking through Expedia, we were not made aware that the hotel was undergoing major renovations. There was active construction during the day and access to rooms was limited or through the construction zone. The room itself had double beds that were very uncomfortable. Air conditioner and fridge were great This is our third night stay in a hotel and we haven’t quite figured out the smart TVs, which was the case in this room as well. “The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.Love the dispensers in the shower and also the extra pillow in the drawer of the dresser.The breakfast was great and set up well,staff was constantly checking to see if more was needed and made sure things were clean.Enjoyed our stay,will recommend it to everyone and will stay again!
