Good beach, but too much mosquitos everywhere . Shower, bath and WC are outdoor (you will hear your Neighbors showering) and need to use anti mosquito spay 24/7. Good spa, must visit.

Thank you for all the staff at SALA, particularly Gift & New who took great care of us. Services are amazing with friendly & very helpful staff. Could not thank you enough. You made our stay truly amazing & highly recommended. Although it is a little far from tourist attractions & may cost a fair bit to travel each day but think the quietness & friendly staff made up for this shortcoming. Than you to our drivers too. The property is secluded with a private beach, however, the tides were quite strong during our stay. We stayed in a duplex with a private pool. The concept is pretty neat, but the two stories we found, was too much room for a couple. The outdoor bathrooms took getting used to, especially with the fluctuation in temperature from the inside bedroom and living room. The size of the private pool was excellent. Our villa definitely showed its wear and tear. The tile around the pool area was discoloured and chipped in quite a few places. The staff tries their best in keeping the property and villas clean, however, the wear and tear in this villa needs some care or renovation. We had issued with the front door lock which was replaced during our last night of stay. The upstairs door that opens to the outdoor bathroom, took a lot of force to open. If you are not into climbing two flights of stairs, I would not recommend the duplex. The breakfast buffet was very limited and mediocre, compared to other resorts we’ve been to in Phuket. The lunch and dinner food was limited and also mediocre. I would recommend eating off the resort. The spa treatment was really nice and the fitness centre was well kept with nice Life Fitness equipments. Enough to get the job done. Overall, I would try other resorts with the same price range before coming back anytime soon.

It was terrific to return to the Sala Phuket after a number of years and find it as peaceful and tranquil as I remembered. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the resort clean and exceptionally well maintained. Delicious food. Quick and easy access to the airport. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is very nice and well appointed, with a great pool area. Nice location on the beach, very convenient for Phuket airport. The food at the restaurant was very good too. They have themed evenings - movie night on a big outdoor screen or thai buffet with traditional dances, which if you are looking for a quiet evening, is a bit of a nuisance.

This is hands down the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. Warm, kind consierge, front desk, servers, and guides. Literally everyone we encountered was so helpful and sweet. The pool villa accommodations are luxe and such a unique experience. The breakfast and restaurant food offerings are incredible and affordable. The excursions are affordable also given they are private which means you wont need to deal with the booze cruise crowds. And the Mai Khao beach is clean, beautiful and peaceful. If you dont mind driving to the touristy things in the south of the island, this is a magnificent option for a first time Thailand visitor.

We absolutely loved this resort. Our only regret is not staying longer. We booked this resort through Expedia. We communicated with them before our stay. They helped organize our pickup from the Phuket airport, they helped setup up a romantic dinner on the beach and setup a driver to take us from Phuket to Krabi. I was nervous about depending on them to do all this for me as I worry about everything. They responded to every question in a timely matter and everything they did for us went so smoothly I didn’t have a worry in the world. That’s how a vacation should be. The driver (Kirakorm) recommended a lunch spot on our way to Krabi which was out of this world. We were also greeted we lovely flowers and a bouquet of flowers which happened to be my wedding flower. Our room was the pool villa. OMG!!! It’s a must. I can’t even explain how beautiful this room is. Our own private pool, we loved the outdoor shower and tub. Also, decorations in our room was very romantic. They even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was amazing. We loved the breakfast. The food was fresh and looked so pretty. We also indulged in a wrap and massage. Those ladies had me and my husband feeling ten years younger. The resort was clean and the beach area was so nice. Everything at this resort was top notch. I would highly recommend staying here. The only thing is stay longer than us. We will be back and this time for at least a week. Thanks for making our visit so special.

Tolles Hotel und perfekter Service (Restaurant ausgeschlossen). Der Service im Restaurant lies zu wünschen übrig. Getränke wurden sehr spät oder manchmal gar nicht serviert, das wurde des Öfteren einfach vergessen. Ansonsten war die Anlage sehr schön und vor allem sauber. Leider ist das Hotel recht abgeschieden, sodass man zum nächsten Supermarkt am besten das Fahrrad nehmen sollte, jedoch sind diese auch nicht mehr im besten Zustand, aber für die Strecke in Ordnung. Durch die Abgeschiedenheit vom Hotel sind auch Ausflüge recht schwierig, da die Anreise dadurch recht lange dauert.

This was a return visit . The setting is great and free water at the pool and restaurant is much appreciated. Service levels at meals were way down and below the levels expected. It is no use having smart glasses and linen if the service is so haphazard. Such a shame as we really wanted it to do well.

Great Service and Beautiful Resort
The room was beautiful and loved the interior design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there were a lot of ants in my room floor, the housekeeping would come everyday to make sure your room was cleaned up and every couple of days they would have pest control service. Overall I enjoyed all the facilities there and super close to the beach!!

Nice reception Nice pool Nice beach Nice restaurant Nice staff Nice apartment when inside.. but between reception and pool beach area its just a mass of concrete buildings shortly it could be camouflaged to tone it down and make it look a bit more tasteful.
