Our vacation rental is located at the end of our farmhouse, which is part of a renovated early 18th-century farm complex. It is a cozy and completely self-contained unit. Certified as a 3-star and 3-épis furnished vacation rental, it is spacious and very well-equipped. Ideal for solo travelers, families, or groups of friends seeking a pleasant and relaxing stay close to nature. It is laid out over two levels, featuring: - On the first floor, a cozy living area (open-concept fully equipped kitchen/living room), a spacious and bright bedroom (1.40 x 200 bed), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. - Upstairs, a second bedroom with two beds (90 x 200), a desk, and storage space. The living area opens onto a south-facing terrace with garden furniture, an awning, and a parasol… A large, enclosed garden with trees is available for you to relax in and where children can play safely, as well as a parking area. From here, you can take many excursions, including day trips to numerous sites in our Haut-Poitou region: Futuroscope, Ménigoute and its must-see bird festival, the medieval town of Parthenay and its many festivals—including FLIP—and Poitiers (a City of Arts and History)… In the surrounding countryside, you can enjoy numerous hikes (trails available at the tourist office). 2.5 km away, there’s a lake (picnic area, open year-round, playground, mini-golf, fishing). In town, there’s a multi-purpose sports complex. You’ll also find a small grocery store and a bread vending machine in town, both within walking distance of our vacation rental.
