“The lodge was located in very rural mountains area and the landscape was beautiful and scenic. The property was well kept however they need to consider upgrading their electrical system. The staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. While they conducted a subway and advised us of the situation in the area. Or needs to be said about the lack of food options or even a general store. But overall, we had a wonderful time in the area was absolutely beautiful.”

“The property was so quaint and beautiful. It was a perfect location from Sugarbush, only 10 minutes from the mountain. The breakfast was unbelievable, we will be staying here every time we come up to Sugarbush. Thank you for an amazing stay!!”

“The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had originally booked a stay somewhere else, and were very disappointed when we got there. We ended up leaving the place we originally booked, and so thankful that we found Mad River Lodge to turn around our weekend getaway. We would absolutely recommend and return in the future. ”

“This hotel is located in a great place to access food, the Ben & Jerry's Factory (in case you want to catch a tour) and didnt have a bunch of road noise that can ruin sleep. It was very clean and has plenty of space in the lobby to get the family around a table to eat.”
