My wife and I stayed here for five nights over New Year 2026 and it could not have been any better. Palma, the host, was very kind and generous with her time. She met us at the apartment to check us in personally, give us keys and make sure we knew how everything worked. She spent time making sure we knew how to use the heating and TV, and then, knowing we did not speak Spanish, took more time out phoning round good restaurants she knew to book us in for a meal on the night of the 31st. The location is perfect, right in the haert of the historic centre, which is pedestrianised. There are shops, cafes, bars and restaurants a few yards in every direction and the main food market is no more than 200 yards away. The harbour is a five-minute walk, the beacj another two on top. The magnificant cathedral, the Alcazaba and the castle are all in the same direction and castle can easily be reached on foot 15 minutes uphill from the Alcazaba. Malaga itself id very attractive. Restaurants are good, the food is fresh and the wine is very good, and nothing seems too expensive compared with UK city prices. Highly recommend Malaga and can recommend this lovely, well-appointed and very clean apartment to all.
