“This is the second time at The Witching Post inn. We love the location.. easy to get to Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood bay and Goathland. Pete and his team were great hosts and looked after us. “Had a lovely 4 night stay. The room was very clean..bathroom too. Enough drawers and storage space. The food was amazing. Breakfast was lovely..good quality and great portions. “We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . “Great bar, plenty of room (dog friendly), great choice of gin, wine by the glass could be improved though. The choice is poor (jack rabbit) better to buy a bottle as nicer wines available. Staff are lovely, can’t do enough, food is delicious and the rooms are clean with nice toiletries and bed linen. Plenty of clean towels and comfy beds. Overall, I would definitely return as the pub is in a great location for Whitby, dog friendly and offers bed & a delicious breakfast at a good price. What’s...
