“This place is number 1 on our list of places to go. It was so relaxing, very excluded, no neighbors to bother you. The river was so nice, listening to the babbling water. We did not want to leave, next time we will make our stay longer & possibly sleep in the lean-to. ”

“This cabin sits right on the outlet, and is less than a mile from the ADK bike trail. As paddlers and pedalers, this location was ideal. The trade off is distance from town (Saranac Lake) and the lack of a washer/dryer and a traditional oven/stove top. The quiet at night was lovely.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Colby. The cabin was decorated very nicely with lots of bear motif. Having access to a variety of boats (canoes, kayaks and row boats) was much appreciated. The Adirondack chairs outside were perfect for watching the sunset. The walls in the bedrooms do not go all the way to the ceiling, and thus the lighting from the living room and kitchen area can be a bit distracting for those people who like to sleep in or go to...

“We loved this place! Cutest little tiny cabin with all the amenities: super comfy bed, nice shower, basic kitchen for cooking with dishes and pots/pans; screened in porch for when the bugs were out, fire pit with super comfy Adirondack chairs (wood provided for one fire). Also comes with heat and AC but we didn’t need either. Cabin is across the road from a great rail-to trail walking/biking path that also goes along Lake Clear. Access to the lake for swimming is about a 1/4 -1/2 mile walk down...

“Everything was amazing. The cabin was big and beautiful, well maintained, and very clean! The screen porch is great to have for the mornings and evenings. The lake is gorgeous and we had a great time kayaking, swimming, and fishing each day. The cabin is close to all the areas we wanted see and the things we wanted to do - hikes, picnics, little towns, ice cream (!), etc. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Adirondack region! ”
