“Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option).”

“Randi is the kindest person. I felt like she adopted me. She makes the most delicious breakfasts. The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Make sure to book a room with garden view as those are wonderful. It felt authentic and was a super central location. Close to he beach and all the good restaurants in Mirissa. A steal! There are many common areas that are shared with Jackie’s guest house which is nice. It was six good days!”

“I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! “Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.”

“Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more...
