“We had a delicious afternoon tea, with an amazing view from the bar area. The room was extremely comfortable and, in spite of the very hot weather, we both slept well. My only criticism would be that the bath was very deep and difficult to get into to use the shower.”

“I was a single traveller, made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but adequate for a single person. En-suite was spacious. Mattress was a little firm for my liking. Fantastic location. All in all an excellent stay.”

“Lovely place to stay. Wonderful breakfast. A well appointed room with lovely toiletries. Helpful and friendly proprietors.”

“Basic room. Although there were patio doors opening onto the car park there were no windows so the room was very hot during our stay. We brought our own fan so were able to manage but would have been very uncomfortable if we hadn’t. Bed was not very comfortable. Electric shower and the plug in the sink got stuck down if used. We arrived at 5pm on Sunday and told no food served after 4pm. Also no breakfast available. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the pub on the second night and food was good....
