My stay at El Almendro Hotel was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The service alone deserves more than five stars.
Before I even arrived, Erika and Henri were incredible. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything seamless. They coordinated an airport driver for me — and I 100% recommend taking them up on this. The driver they arranged, José, was excellent: punctual, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I landed. Honestly, the hotel should promote this service more because it made such a difference. He drove us around the city and did two private tours for us. You can coordinate with him.
The hotel itself is not fancy or luxurious — but it has everything you truly need: strong air conditioning, hot water, reliable Wi-Fi, clean and most importantly, safety. The property is gated, secure, and the staff is always present and courteous. I felt completely safe throughout my stay.
The breakfast staff and housekeeping team are AMAZING — truly better service than I’ve experienced at some five-star resorts. Breakfast is included, and it’s fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Every morning started off perfectly.
The location is also very convenient — just minutes from MetroCentro Mall. I even ordered food through PedidosYa during my stay, and everything was a success with no issues at all.
I would absolutely return and highly recommend El Almendro Hotel to anyone visiting the area.
