are a short drive over the Causeway Bridge.
Our Creek - Front home , with Sunrise Bay Views , Sunset Marsh Views , Floating Dock for Crabbing , and Kayaks available ,
offers many options for relaxation ! The elevated wrap around Decks , provide choice seating for outdoor dining , and reclining , with Shade or full Sun ! And the “Locals” adjacent foot bridge, to Mud City, is a most friendly source of entertainment !
The Peaceful , Natural environment of 🦆 Mallard Island 🦆 is amazing !

It's an easy walk to
Mallard Island Yacht Club for your Wedding Event.
The Old Causeway Steak & Oyster House , and Mud City Crab House Restaurants , are two of the Best in ALL of New Jersey ! Grocery stores , the Manahawkin Flea Market and Specialty Stores are just down the road .
Local Summer Nightlife is a great variety , from the Parks to the Pubs for great Music and Dancing ! Long Beach Island Summer Concert Series offers concerts at various township parks , nightly . The Sandpaper weekly newspaper, suggests all the entertainment and dining options !

Wonderful Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at MJ and Bill's shore home... their house was very clean and well stocked with everything and anything one might need in a stay away from home... the set up was lovely and the location peaceful (and a stone's throw away from LBI)... both MJ and Bill were easily accessible via text... we would definitely revisit their home for another vacation.

Fantastic Spot!

We loved our stay in Mallard Island! I was so happy when we arrived to see the house was even better than the photos :) I really appreciated that the house was super clean and stocked with essentials - they thought of everything! The beds were comfortable - especially the pull-out couch. The outdoor shower is THE BEST and the sunset views sitting on the porch can't be beat. Thank you so much for sharing your home!!!!

Stunning house on a great location

We usually stay at Beach Haven but was longing for something different, something new. We surely found it. We love to fish and this house is right on the water. Literally you can drop your rod in from the dock. There is a fun crab trap there too plus kayaks are available. Location is as described. Close to restaurants, stores, beach. I went for a walk every morning conquered the big bridge. The breeze was fantastic. The house has EVERYTHING! Seriously I’ve stayed at many properties from VRBO but this was the most equipped, cleanest. Beds and sheets are super comfortable. I woke up refreshed every morning. Bill and MJ are wonderful people. They offered us to check in earlier then stay later that it was posted. They communicated with me promptly. Thank you so much for trusting us with your outstanding house! In my dreams I am still sitting on that comfortable brown chair on your porch enjoying the sunshine and breeze!

Delightful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Mallard Island. Our hosts were just wonderful. They were available and welcoming without being at all intrusive. The home was lovingly prepared for us, and their attention to so many details made our stay simply delightful in every way. We are already looking forward to returning. Summertime Oasis

This was just a great spot we had a blast fishing and catching endless amounts of crabs. The hosts were so responsive and helpful with our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this spot!! We will be back!!

Incredible

Our trip was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we arrived, Bill and MJ, our hosts, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were always available to assist us with anything we needed. The house itself was ideal - beautiful, cozy and in a great location, just over the bridge from the island. Bill and MJ provided everything we could possibly need or want during our stay, and even set up a crab trap for us before we arrived, which was a big hit with my kids. The memories we made on this trip were made possible by the incredible generosity of our hosts. We cannot thank Bill and MJ enough for making us feel like part of their family and ensuring that we enjoyed every moment of our trip. They truly are the perfect hosts that anyone could ask for.

Perfection!

The property was perfectly suited for me and my teen cousin. We traveled to LBI throughout our short stay; it was quick and easy to get on and off the island. Our second day we spent more time at the house, went for a walk around the cute neighborhood and watched the crabs off the back deck. Bill had the crab trap set for us; the teenager was happy to check the trap multiple times throughout the day. The beds were very comfortable with good pillows and plenty of blankets. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen was well stocked with all needed items. The outdoor shower was glorious!! Communication with Bill and MJ was easy and helpful. I've already recommended the property to several people and plan to stay again!

Perfect Spot!

The property was in such an incredible location and was even better than advertised. The hosts were extremely communicative (but not annoying) and made the check in process incredibly easy. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. LBI was just across the bridge, but even if that was too far, the property comes with kayaks that can be launched off the property’s dock into the bay!

Weekend Away - Triathalon

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath house was just as advertised and was perfect for a weekend stay with 4 people. The house had all the necessary amenities that you would want and the hosts could not have been nicer. I would definitely stay there again.

What an amazing three days on Mallard Island! We were originally hoping to stay on LBI over Memorial Day Weekend but couldn't find accomodations. We initially selected Mallard Island due to the proximity to LBI, but realized almost immediately that this area and this house were magical. The vibe of the area is welcoming, vibrant and family friendly. I particularly enjoyed my morning walks and thinking how lucky I would be to own a house here. The property itself couldn't have been better. Newly and wonderfully updated, great views of the water from everywhere you look and every amenity you can think of at your fingertips. The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel like family. There is no doubt we will be back to visit again!

The perfect relaxing location!

The host was in contact with us before arrival with check in information which is great. We had Fresh flowers and a wonderful card. The home was perfect with decor and layout and clean as well as updated. The home was perfect for a relaxing Mother’s Day getaway. You can tell that everyone who stays at this home takes care as if it were their own. Bill and MJ are two of the best hosts that I have yet encountered in my 54 years of traveling with family. I go to the Jersey shore every year and have come to love the off island experience. Peace !

Perfect 🤩

My sister and I traveled here recently to spend time with family who happen to live on the same cul-de-sac. The communication between the hosts and ourselves was Excellent!! We knew exactly what to expect upon our arrival due to their communication, and even pictures of the tides; they are delightful! The house itself was quaint, clean, fully furnished with sheets and towels, as well as the basic amenities. Everything we could have needed was already there/in place. This is always appreciated, especially when this stay was only for a few nights, as you don’t have to go out and make separate trips for trash bag liners, etc. I enjoyed the sunrise from the bedroom in the morning, and the beautiful view of the bridge and the little inlet. Will definitely stay again, and I plan on it!!

Absolutely the best

Couldn’t ask for more supreme hosts and location. Bill went out of his way to make our stay perfect, from baiting the crab trap to preparing the grill and myriad other touches. Truly an asset for VRBO!

Perfect vacation

We had a great time on our family vacation in this home. It's much prettier in person than in the photos. We enjoyed everything the property had to offer; from kayaks to wildlife watching, it was amazing. MJ was so kind and informative about things to do in the area. Great spot, great house and terrific hosts

The house is even nicer than it looks in the listing. Everything is new and in great shape and it's very well equipped whether you want to cook, kayak or chill on the large and breezy porch. The location is great too. Just enough off the main road to be quiet but still convenient to everything. It doesn't take long to get into the wetlands by kayak or foot for nature viewing. And it's right next to a foot bridge. The hosts were amazing. Very welcoming and ready to help, but without being intrusive. They had thought through very carefully what information we would need when and texted us exactly what we needed at the right time. We will definitely try to book it again next time we are there.

Great Place

I found this place at the last minute and booked for the week. Bill and Mary Jane are absolutely wonderful. The house is super cute. The area is very nice and quiet. I love that they had kayaks to use. It’s quick ride to the island. I highly recommend.

Best place ever!

This was my first VRBO- and we loved it! The house was very clean and the hosts were awesome! The house had everything you would need! The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Beyond expectations

Bill & MJ were over the top accommodating. They made sure we knew where everything was and we were comfortable in every way. The home is extremely clean, a great size for 4 guests and very welcoming. It's in a great location - very close to restaurants/shops and the bridge to LBI is down the road. Quit, serene area. Great neighbors as well. I'd highly recommend this place!
