Good staff, terrible apartment.

Have stayed here few times before thinking they need minor improvements, but this has to be my last time. The place really needs to be updated. there are damp marks over the ceiling, in the bathroom. I felt it was not clean for my children (under 6), and was worried the damp would make them ill. Unfortunately, even though the staff are very helpful, I will not be returning due to the state of the apartments.

Good family friendly place.

It's a nice family hotel. Needs some updating. Nice friendly staff. Make sure you arrive after 2pm otherwise rooms are not ready. We had to go to the mall and come back several hours later as we arrived to the hotel early in the morning.

اقمت مع الأسرة لمدة يومين... في الجناح رقم 162... مساحة الغرف جيدة... لكن الاتربة علي الشبابيك ' رائحة الغرف و الفرش ليست جيدة. و قد ابديت تلك الملحوظة لموظف الاستفبال. بالإضافة ان التخفبض الذي منح لي كان على اليوم الثاني فقط...

Огромный апарт

Останавливались на 1 ночь с детьми. Дали огромный апартамент, около 100квадратных метров, в двух комнатах по двуспальной кровати, гостиная с диваном. 3 санузла, оборудованная кухня. Но все прокурено, там даже пепельницы стоят. Состояние мебели средне. Не далеко от отеля есть улочка с кафешками. Рядом много разных отелей и главная мечеть. А так Бахрейн абсолютно не для туристов, пешеходных троп нет, автомагистрали не перейти, дороги сделаны только для автомобилистов.

Decent enough for me-but not for my wfe

It would have done, but I knew it wouldn't have for my wife. I was going to stay here for a month, but I left a day after I checked in because my wife wouldn't have liked it. It was clean enough, but worn.

Ramee Suites 2 Could be better.

As a business traveler I always want good internet access. The internet access/speed at this hotel / apartment was not good. The room itself was a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment. The cost was excellent, I would recommend this place for roominess / size and cost alone. It could have been cleaner but you get what you pay for. So, for the cost, it was okay. If someone is looking for a low cost place with a lot of room, and isn't concerned about outdated amenities in the rooms, this would be okay. If you are looking for a nice "up to date" room with fast internet access I would look for another place.

Not Great, but could have been worse.

First off, the pool policy was very weird and there is only an indoor pool, not multiple like the description. You had to reserve the pool to use it, and then you could only swim an hour. The first room we were assigned was not very clean. The drains had not been cleaned in a while, and the kitchen counters/walls had old food splatter on it. I just went and bought some cleaner and cleaned it up, as I have noticed many ME countries standards of "clean" are not the same as mine. Our electrical outlets started going off and on and then our air conditioning unit went out. We had to switch rooms. The second room was cleaner, but the air conditioner made a horribly loud sound every time it turned on. Overall, the hotel was ok. We really liked the size of it and loved having a kitchen, so we didn't have to eat at restaurants every meal. We will probably look elsewhere when we come back. The location was great, and the staff was friendly. Most staff spoke English really well.

Close to the Naval Support Base.

Close to the Naval Support Base. Nice clean, well air-conditioned 2-bedroom apartment suite. Kitchen is dated, but generally functional. Basic prep, cooking and baking ware (pots, pans, cutlery, etc…) were old or missing. Baths (2 ½) were clean. Comfortable walking distance to the Naval Base, western-style restaurants, and nightlife in the Juffair area. Hotel staff very helpful and accommodating when asked for assistance. During Ramadan, the rates were exceptionally good making the extended weekend visit less expensive than the typical extend weekend visit. Observance of Ramadan was in effect, and many restaurant venues offer menus in support of iftar each evening.

Good location

Ramee 2 was a good place for us to stay for the weekend. Hotel room is essentially a two bedroom apartment complete with kitchen, dining area and living room, which worked well for us. We could walk to a "main" area that had restaurants, coffee and a grocery store. Had to take taxis to malls, etc, which was fine as they all use meters. Went out in the evenings as there is nothing in the hotel, but again, that was our plan. Our only complaint is that they didn't clean our room in the morning, and we didn't have enough towels in the room for the three of us. However, as we were only there for two nights, this is relatively minor. Nothing fancy about this place, but we would probably stay again.
