Hope your 1 night stay was pleasant - 'twas the busiest time of the year. As my site indicates complimentary coffee is available and for breakfast one has to just walk around the corner. Many people prefer firm mattresses. Hope you do return to this lovely area.

Sorry everything did not meet your expecttions. During the summer there was AC in the room and as fall had entered the AC is removed. The warm temperatures certainly were unusual for this time but a couple days later they hit 40 degrees at night.Coffe is set up the evening before and guests generally start it when they get up - sorry if there were none there. Thank you for your kind words upon departure and hopefully you will return to this area. Frank

Sorry the Guest House did not appeal to you.It must be about 175 years old and each year updates are made. I did not see you or your wife but the bedspreads had just been purchased from Orvis that week. Hope you did enjoy the area while you were here.

I did pass on the words to the cleaning staff as we hope to make the stay very pleasant. The site does mention that coffee is complimentary - breakfast is not included. The reservation had been made for 3 nights and the first night was a no show - you were charged for that night. Over the years Suttons Place had been among the most economical deals in town. Hopefully you will return to this lovely area.

Thank you for your positve comments and glad you enjoyed your brief stay. This being a Guest House and not a Band B I do point the guests to the nearby restaurants as you did take advantage of. Coffee is available and the frigo in the guest room is there for the guests. Hope to see you back in Vermont

Sorry the rooms did not meet your expectation. The rooms are generally gone over prior to the guests' arrival. Our prices are known to be among the best (lowest) in this area and I'll presume this reservation was for the 2 bedroom suite. Hopefully you'll return and find a most satisfactory stay.
