The room was clean. Lobby area was attractive and was available for groups to gather. The breakfast was adequate but not great. There was instant oatmeal but no microwave or microwavable bowls if one wanted to use the microwave in the room.

Thank you leaving a review! The oatmeal packets we do offer has instructions on the package for both hot water and microwave preparation. We would have been happy to find an appropriate container and microwaved your oatmeal in our kitchen, should you have preferred that method. We hope you will be able to stay with us again so we may make your next stay better!

I was there on business and I asked for an extra 2 hours for late check out so I can finish this project I have a deadline on. The front desk said I can only have 1 hour, even though I was the ONLY guest at the hotel and they had no other bookings to take my room. So I had to take my computer and monitor and finish my project in the lobby. I have business in Dyersville as I travel for my job but they just lost my business because I’ll never stay at this, or another Cobblestone location again.

We are glad to hear you were still able to complete your project utilizing our facilities. Our Guest Services Representative did offer to extend your stay in our last available handicap accessible room, which you were reserved in the night prior. Unfortunately, you turned down the extended stay offer and we were only able to accommodate your request for an extra hour without charging a fee. Please contact our General Manager at your convenience to further discuss how we can improve on your overall impression of Cobblestone Hotels.

There was fecies smeared all over one of the pillows on the extra bed in the room, I called the front desk and they came to my room and said that since I didn’t sleep in that bed there was nothing they could do about it and tried the nasty pillow in my room

Daedae checked us in. He Was so friendly and gave us all information about the stay. Free cookies at check in was nice. Breakfast was okay. Enough for us to start out the day (biscuits and gravy were good and hot scrambled eggs were too). Fresh bagels and pastries along with fresh fruit were offered as well.

My family and I stayed at the Cobblestone over the last weekend in Sept. The staff and experience was on of a kind. From the geniue hospitality to the yummy breakfast, to accommodating my family when I had made a mistake in our reservation (I didn't book our room for the whole weekend...) the Cobblestone team were excellent and loving! I would like to add that I am a cleaner by professen, the lobby, and rooms were spotless and sparkling! Thank you Cobblestone for the wonderful mini vacay 💕

Very clean, dry quiet, and very updated. Also, the staff was very polite. While we didn’t stay for the breakfast, it looked good, as well. Highly recommend.

Property looks to be fairly new and has nice flooring and carpets and is fairly well appointed. Do find it very strange and concerning that there are doors to adjoining rooms and they don’t have locks on them. Leaves me extremely concerned for overnight, so I have barricaded the door with various chairs in the ironing board. How do you put in a joining doors with no locks on them? They also asked for an awful lot of personal information to check in. Windows on the first floor do not lock securely, and when you use the lock, they just fall out of the windows. Maybe I just got a bad room, but overall safety and security here is something of a concern..

Hello Erica, The connecting room doors, lock automatically when shut, there is nothing to lock, in fact there are not any doorknobs on the inside of the door, precisely for that reason. We do take security very serious here at Cobblestone, and if you felt unsecure, we really wish you would have brought it to our attention while you were here. As for the information asked at check in, it is the same for each guest, for everyone's security. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further concerns, I am always happy to help.

First encounter with staff, not so friendly or welcoming. 2nd encounter was better. Clean place inside and out. Biggest complaint was that the queen bed was sunken in the middle, not very comfy at all.

Good: Great location near Lake Delhi Bad: We paid in full to Expedia, and we had to pay in full to Cobblestone Inn as well at check in. They did not believe we paid at Expedia as Expedia does not pay them. So I am stuck fighting for a refund from one of the two.

We were not there these nights. The Expedia computer booked these nights and they weren't the ones we wanted!! There was no place to put the nights we wanted and just like that we were charged and told our reservation was made!!!!
