Great Southwestern Colorado get-away
Lovely, quiet property with plenty of space for walking dogs and enjoying the forested property, all within reasonable driving distances for day trips to local hiking/mountain bike trails, National Parks, Durango tourist offerings, and more. Perfect summer get-away!

Great cabin tucked away in the woods. Very quite!

Couldn’t have asked for more
So many VRBO listings go to great lengths to photograph the property to maximize its appeal-rather like those shots of RV’s or boats which make the accommodation look so much more spacious and appealing. This often leads to disappointment. Not so, this property. Airy, spacious, studio-type modern cabin set in acres of Ponderosa forest. Quiet, serene. Comfortable Tempurpedic style bed. Good washer/dryer. Good kitchen, gas range. Ample counter space. Caveats: needs steak knives, a cooking knife set, a colander, a salad spinner (these may not be an issue unless like us, you like to cook your own meals). Could use better bedside lamp. Needs more lamps. We’d like to return and stay longer. Ideal location to access Mesa Verde and Canyon of the Ancients national park/monuments, and so much more.

Mancos Stay
The property was as advertised, except there are no views of the San Juan Mountains, as implied by the photos. This was not an issue as views of multiple mountain ranges are a 10 minute drive from the property. An excellent location for visiting Mesa Verde National Park.

Very pleasant stay!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this wonderful cabin in the ponderosa pine woods of west Colorado. Very clean, convenient and quiet. We enjoyed walking the trails that have been established on the property and really appreciated the privacy and the setting. Cynthia was great to deal with on check in and very accurately described what we very enthusiastically call a top rate vacation stay!

Fantastic get-away
All the things you need, none you don't. Very clean and spacious for a one room house. Enjoyed walking around the 80 acre property. Great home-base for exploring S/W Colorado. Will be back!

Beautiful area near Mesa verde and Durango
Very relaxing and quiet. Continued our little southwest Colorado vacation. Went to Mesa verde and hiking over near Durango. Overall a super quiet location.

Country getaway to unplug
Just as advertised. Nicely maintained. Great kitchen and grill set up. Loved it! No WiFi and No tv to speak of except old westerns but that suited us just fine.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location
We stayed at this secluded, beautiful property for a long weekend and were able to bring our two pups along. This property has so much land, our dogs were in their glory being able to run around and play in the snow. The cabin itself had all of the basic necessities that you would need for your stay. The cute little town of Mancos is about ten minutes down the main road, which is the perfect balance of being close enough to town, but you feel far enough away at the cabin that it’s peaceful. Communication with the property manager was great and she always responded back fast. Overall, the property manager was super kind and helpful. This property was the perfect winter wonderland weekend getaway. We are wanting to come back to this area, to this same property, in the summer as well. I highly recommend this property!!

The cabin was perfect it was very peaceful and was clean and inviting . I would recommend it to anyone that wanted a good location near Mesa Verde or just a place to get away.

Such a lovely stay
My wife and I spent our honeymoon here, and absolutely loved it. It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The wooded area on the property was great for exploring, and the cabin was quaint and had all the amenities needed. 5 stars all around. Would stay again.

Ideal Cabin in woods
Perfect location in a large forest of pines . It’s a newer log cabin . Clean , comfortable and relaxing.We loved walking on the trail in the trees which is very secluded. The Summit lake is walking distance as well . There is no WiFi and poor spotty cell service. If you need to communicate to the outside world it will be frustrating but what a wonderful place to unplug. The kitchen is sparse on tools and pans but we made do . We would return as it is lovely .

Peaceful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at the cabin. It’s in a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful! The cabin is cute and the bed was comfy, nice shower and the washer and dryer was great to have access to. I imagine most people don’t cook much when they Airbnb—we do. Some kitchens are fully equipped and it’s easy to become accustomed to this. If you plan on cooking anything involved, you might bring: measuring tools, mixing bowls, particular pans, blender... or just snack, heat stuff up, and eat out!!

Quiet cabin on fantastic property
Nice little cabin as described. Modern and clean interior. It was in a quiet location with some property around (and a house under construction next door). With snow falling we could xc-ski, snow shoe and walk on the property - about a mile loop on trails. Turkey and deer would show up just outside the window (to the excitement and frustration of our dog.) Good base to visit the San Juan mountains and the Lost Canyon of the Ancients.

New construction, Nice place. Check for ongoing construction before booking
I was looking forward to a quiet week in the trees. It was still pretty quiet, however construction going on meant that people were coming in and leaving every day. It sort of ruined the idea of a private retreat. I wouldn’t have booked here had I known. Other than that the property is nice and well setup

Great cabin, super quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Deer and other wildlife literally right outside the windows in the mornings. Hiking and mountain bike trails steps away from the front door. Property managers very responsive and friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful time; simply could not ask for anything more. I want to go back.

Beautiful and peaceful
The property was wonderful! Would have given it 5-stars all the way around except for: kitchen trash had not been emptied, there were some ants in the bathroom the first day - then they were gone, only one extra roll of toilet paper in the closet. Other than that everything was beautiful and great. Very relaxing, comfortable, and quiet. Would have been nice to have a dresser to put clothes in for the week long stay.

Nice secluded cabin
Thanks so much for the lovely stay! My wife and I were wanting to explore and hike Mesa Verde National Park and the surrounding area. Go to local restaurants and breweries and wineries. There are some really good ones! We were only a short drive from it all, about 30min away, and yet the cabin itself is still secluded. In fact my only complaint would be how secluded it was hah. While our stay was very enjoyable and we wished we could of stayed longer, I didn't realize there was no wifi and we couldn't get a signal. Looking back at the listing, it doesn't say it does or doesn't. In the end this wasn't a problem, but I guess it would of been good to know prior.

Private Perfect Getaway
The cabin is nice. It is in the pines, and a perfect place for a getaway. There is no wi fi so it is a good place to really relax. The TV reception is not good so suggest you have a book. The dogs loved it, and the cabin is off the highway. It was quiet; the only noise was the mountain jays and snow sliding off the roof. It was beautiful in the snow but we would like to go back when the snow melts.

Beautiful cabin and setting
I loved this place. Everything is brand new and beautiful. Cynthia was also very accomodating on timing and work equipment (I was there on a work trip). My dog loved it! If there was wifi, I would have given it 5 stars.
