“It was a lovely place to stay....clean and very comfortable. There is not alot to do in the area except the beach BUT....if Ruakaka is your destination, this is the place to stay!”

“Booked a weekend getaway and this was great for our purposes. Loved the outdoor grassy space for our little one to run around, and the view is really special. For us to the uncluttered and thoughtful layout was really nice for toddlers. The shower is soul refreshing 😊 oh and so close to the best beaches in the area!!”

“The place was immaculate, and had everything! The deck had amazing views of the harbour and a Kereru nesting in a bush just on the other side of the glass ballistrade. The birdsong was so fabulous that we didn't listen to our music the whole time. Tui, Kereru and Morepork talked and sang to us and Fantails accompanied us on the beautiful bushwalks. The private beach was terrific for both us and our dog, but the best part was Aprilanne, William and their dogs. We could not have had better hosts...

“A gorgeous wee place nestled in the heart of matakana. So lovely to be able to relax with one of my bestie's in such a beautiful home. Jules was super helpful and went to lengths to make our stay a great one. Great tip if you're going with the friend she is able to separate the bed into two singles. The property was beautifully furnished and conducive to snuggling down and relaxing”

The location - right on the beach and the amazing harbor views, the use of the paddleboards and bikes, the quiet little suburban area, the Marina cafe, the unit feeling spacious and having the kitchenette and bathroom and even the good quality instant coffee supplied. “Had the most amazing holiday here. 3 families, 10 kids in total and each family had our own section of the house and own bathroom. And there was space for a 4th family. Beautiful home, well stocked with laundry and dishwasher stuff and toilet paper, glad wrap etc which is always so handy with big groups. Fire places were brilliant, location was perfect. We just loved every minute. Host was really responsive too and even got a portacot for us to use. You won't be disappointed with this...
