Welcome to the Almosta Ranch guest cabin! This is a great set up for people with horses, or looking to horseback ride during their stay in the Gallatin Valley. Located just 15 minutes to Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport, you can unpack your bags and be out on the ranch in no time. Situated on 10 acres, guests can arrange for horseback rides, or just walk around the property and sit by the creek. The cabin has 1 queen bed, full kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. Welcome to the Bunkhouse at Almosta Ranch! This is a cozy studio cabin in a convenient location for guests traveling through, or looking to be close to the Airport. Situated less than 5 minutes from I-90, with good trailer access, this could be a good location for those towing a trailer, or those traveling with livestock. The location of this cabin is about 10 minutes to Belgrade, 12-14 minutes from Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport, 1 hour from Big Sky Resort, 37 minutes from Bridger Bowl, 21 minutes from Bozeman, 1.5 hours from Yellowstone's North Entrance, and 1.75 hours from Yellowstone's West Entrance. This charming cabin rental is situated on the 10 acre, picturesque Almosta Ranch, where cowgirl-chic meets rustic elegance. Nestled amidst shady cottonwoods and the soft sounds of nature, this beautifully appointed cabin is the perfect getaway for those seeking a taste of the cowboy lifestyle. Baker Creek is only a 1/4 mile walk through a bucolic horse pasture, with some friendly equines. Across the street, you will find a 1/4 section of State Land, where you are welcome to ride with your horses, hire an outfitter to take you, or just go for a leisurely stroll along the creek. Depending on the time of year, a guest can enjoy mushroom picking along the cottonwoods of Baker Creek, and White Ditch, or birdwatch and horseback ride year-round. Step inside to find a warm and inviting space adorned with vintage Western-eclectic decor, reclaimed wood accents, original sliding barn door, and vibrant kitchen tiles that echo the spirit of the ranch. The open-concept living area features cozy seating, a dining area, and sleeping for 2 in a queen bed. The kitchenette features a cooktop, microwave, and fridge, with a sink and all necessary utensils, plates, cups, and bowls, as well as meal prep utensils and tools. Outside on the patio, you will find a grill and BBQ tools, with outdoor seating and table. For entertaining indoors, there is WiFi, and a SmartTV which is available for your streaming platforms. If you'd like to take a walk, you can head left from the front door, past the house on your left, and through the horse pasture, where you will find a gate that leads to Baker Creek. People with horses are welcome to corral their horses next to the cabin, with room for up to 4 horses. All hay being brought through the ranch must be weed-free, and your livestock must have updated shots and Coggins test, Outside, a charming porch beckons you to unwind with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine as you watch the horses graze. Explore the ranch with horseback riding, hiking, or simply soaking in the tranquility of your surroundings. Experience the essence of cowgirl chic in this delightful cabin, where adventure and relaxation await! You are welcome to arrive at your leisure, and the keys will be sitting on the counter. Property managers are licensed with the State of Montana, and will be your go-to for all things involving reservations, booking horseback riding, information about anything, and mostly everything else. While we may not be on the premises, you may encounter the owner, workers, other horse people, and an occasional pet who are all friendly and approachable. Private areas include the inside of the cabin, and the firepit and patio area but do not have privacy screening. We ask that you keep a reasonable distance away from any other shop, house, or out-buildings for privacy reasons, thank you! If you would like to book a horseback riding trip, please do so in advance. All use of Montana State Land requires a Conservation Permit, which is included in the price of the riding trip. All guides are private contractors and will have their own contractual agreements, waivers, and are obligated to pay fees and retain licenses.
