Yes to bith questions. He always answered our questions right away. Little more rustic then we thought but everything worked and plenty of towels and great kitchen. Kids loved the animals. Recommend for young children.

We had a blast at the property. All my adult kids and my toddler grandchild loved the animals. We all love to hike so the location couldn’t be more perfect. The place was very pet friendly as well.

Shane was very quick to reply when I messaged any questions. The rural farm atmosphere with all the animals was great. The kids lived it! And it’s pet friendly so I got to bring my dog along. His daughter is saving for college and offered some baked sweets —her cinnamon rolls were amazing!

Such a spacious and awesome place to stay! The beds were comfortable. I left without back pain which is rare. The kids loved all of the animals and feeding them. The owner communicated well with us. No complaints.

We LOVED our stay at the farmhouse. My 2 year old had so much fun waking up to the roosters. We loved getting to feed the animals. The location was wonderful and so peaceful, yet close to all of the Mohican activities. Would definitely recommend. No complaints whatsoever.

Friendly and fun

This property was a nice relaxing place to stay. We didn't fill the entire home, but i could see how a larger group could easily fit and have a great time there. There were ample seating spots, places to hide out if you had too much, large yard for games and everything i needed to cook for the family. The host was responsive and helpful. Ash, the cat, followed us on our hike through the woods. We are planning on returning for sure.

It was a good experience for all of us, in beautiful surroundings. The animals were so friendly and the host always got back to us in a timely manner with any questions we had. The only complaint that we have is that cleanliness of the screened in porch could’ve been better. Maybe deep cleaning on the furniture cushions or get new ones.

Love the farmhouse!

Our family of 12, 6 kids and 6 adults, had another wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The kids love the animals and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The house is well equipped, clean and has so many nice touches. We had a warm campfire and did some star gazing. Big backyard sufficient to set up a soccer net or other yard games. Wonderful memories made!

Fun getaway!

Beautiful property to relax and unwind. The kids loved all of the animals on site and spent as much time as they could outside. Close to Mohican and just a short drive to Amish country! Owner was very responsive and prompt. No complaints at all!

Family getaway

Cozy Winter Family Getaway

Comfortable and cozy home, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable seating and beds, and the first VRBO I have rented for which I didn’t say, “I wish they had a______.” The owners have thought about most everything a guest may need that a host can reasonably provide. And the animals are a special treat. My granddaughters and really, all my adult children as well, enjoyed feeding them and watching their antIt’s as they jockeyed for the best positions to get at the food provided by the owners. An important note: there are barn cats that hang out on the porch but they do not go in the house and my allergic kiddos didn’t have any trouble in the house. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and large sectional sofa where we all could fit and sitting around the large farm table together for meals. The owners even welcomed our dog! I highly recommend this lovely home.

Family Gathering at the Restored Farmhouse!

Our family gathered and stayed in the Restored Farmhouse mid November. The property was beautiful! We enjoyed feeding, petting and watching all the animals living on the farm. Several people in our group enjoyed fishing in the small pond. We brought our own firewood and spent the chilly afternoon around the fire pit - lots of s'mores and laughs! The kitchen was well appointed and had all of the things we needed to prepare and enjoy meals together. There were plenty of kitchen and bath towels available, and the beds were pretty comfortable. We were able to use our personal streaming accounts to watch college football games and boxing on the large television in the family room too. Our family was able to relax and enjoy our time together at this property! A few important things to note: We arrived after dark, coming from the east side of the county. We did not have a house number, and did have some trouble finding the property. Inside the house, beware of the steep steps going upstairs. There are trip hazards at the top of the steps too. Maybe most importantly to note, we were unaware that the upstairs bedrooms were all semi-private as you have to move through the connected bedrooms to use the bathroom and to go downstairs. Before arriving, we were also not aware there was an extra up-charge to use the cottage bedroom on property. Overall, we enjoyed this property and made great memories there as a family. Thanks for a great stay!
