Nice Home on the Lake

Enjoyed our stay at this home on the lake. Very comfortable, clean, and great for the two of us and the dogs. Agree with other comments about steep steps to lake, however, great location and easy for most except would not bring small children.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed staying at the Manson house on the lake! It had everything we needed and more. One minor issue checking in, but the host was quick to resolve the error.

Great Home on the Lake

Home was comfortable, clean, and right on lake with wonderful views. Great for the two of us, with room for more and the dogs. Check in was awesome and very accommodating. Agree with comments about being steep to get to lake, however, we had no issues. Would not recommend for anyone with small children.

Very retro cabin feel. Back patio and dock terrific. Had a problem with the garbage, had to get evovle involved. But it eventually was taken care of.

Enjoyed it but UNSAFE for young kids

We enjoyed our stay for the long weekend, but we had a toddler with us and the drop off from the property was poorly advertised and very dangerous. There really should be a fence/barrier for how steep the property wall is for young children to be safe! The king bed was too firm for my liking. Cozy place though and wonderful views. Sucks that fees are outrageous now though and 270 dollar cleaning fee is way too much.

We had stayed here before, July 2016, with our then college aged kids and their partners. This was a reunion of sorts will all the same players who are all now married. The location is great and the house has lots of room for everyone to spread out so you are never on top of each other. Easy access to the Manson market and boat launch. Lots of great walking just across the highway. Can't comment on wine tasting as I would rather just drink it, but for those who imbibe, plenty of access w/in walking distance. The elderly couple next door(?Dave and Patty) were super nice. This place is just like me, older and funky, but very accommodating. Would have been nice to have a couple of chase lounges down on the bulkhead along with a pale on a rope to scoop water from the lake to cool off the dock as it gets very hot when baking in the sun. Try as I might, I was unable to adjust the AC down at night from the preset 70 as we all like if a bit cooler when we are sleeping. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Great view, besides all beds super hard, not enough blankets, stinky pillows, shower head broken

The address I was given on few emails they sent took us 18miles past the house to a vacant abandon farm house, I had to really dig for house address. the instructions said house keys are on the front door pad lock, well nowhere in the description did it say it was on a post near the front door which is very hidden, I called manager for location of pad lock, and wouldn’t open was old and janky. The house was beautiful, old cabin charm. The views were great.The bed (king) the most was hard as a rock, my neck and back hurt for many weeks, not enough warm thick blankets. Only x1 thin blanket to sleep. The pillows smelt like they have never been washed in over a decade, very stained and Odorous. I had to put four pillowcases on it because it stunk like butt, and the blankets smelt. The shower was literally 3x3 feet little box and cramped, the shower-head was broken, it was blasting from the center with extreme harsh pressure, hurt everyone’s skin and eyes. most of my family were unable to shower, Again we went for four nights and every single morning at 7 AM a landscaping company started landscaping every neighbored home, every single day, talking outside the windows being very loud with music I was not able to have any enjoyable sleep any night along with my family. I would also request to put a extra TV in the 2nd living room so two families can enjoy separate movies or adult vs kids. The movies were 30 years old VCR lol I mean come on. I would write more but word cut off.

Perfect for our family getaway

We typically like to stay on Wapato point but we needed to book somewhere to allow our dog to come with us. Having the house on the water, with a dock, was a game changer for us. We were able to rent a boat and jet skis, for multiple days, and have them readily available to take out when ever we wanted. We watched the fireworks on Manson Bay on the boat and had an amazing time. Our kids loved it. We will definitely try to rent the cabin again next year!

Cozy meets Côte d’Azure

Warm in every way! Cabin charm on the inside, sun-soaked turquoise glory and lavender fields on the outside, this is a vacation spot that brought me back to my childhood and inspired restorative contemplation. The sweet porch swing, the grassy beach by the dock, and the fact that our dog was welcome made it marvelous. The dog, by the way, who loves to fetch in the water, almost never gets into the water without something to chase. This time, he swam in that clear water for pleasure, just like we did. Many thanks!

Cozy property right on the lake with amazing views

A group of us (4 adults) and 3 young teens (and a dog) stayed here for the Thanksgiving break. Firstly, location is right on the water (with a steep stairs to dock) with gorgeous views. Was easy to locate on map. The place is very cozy and has a lot of wood inside with furniture and decor that would remind you of your grandparents house BUT everything was very very comfortable - 3 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds (we used one - mattress was very good). Has large living room and a kitchen/dining room which also has another extended living room. Everything was provided for and clean and good. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with LOTS of pots and pans (good quality) and great knives/utensils etc - I love to cook and I always look for good kitchen items and this place had it. Good TV with limited channels but lots of games and VCR/DVD tapes and books! Propane grill was also very clean and easy to use. Overall loves the property and the stay! Thanks!

Good vacation rental

The house itself was great and had a certain kind of 70's charm to it (even has a video cassette player) if you like it. We like the location too, and it has private access to the lake, which was fun. The only challenge was communicating with the property managers. . We had sent messages in VRBO and were auto-replied communication would be through emails. We sent emails, which at times never got a response or got a response after a few days (partially answering our queries). After booking, we even made phone calls that went to voice mail with no callbacks, all of which made planning overall a bit difficult. Otherwise, the check-in/ checkout instruction itself was very clear, the house clean and close to the description. overall a good comfortable stay

3 night stay in Fall

The property location is beautiful but it is located on a steep hillside. The dock has no bumpers for a boat either. Being older i found going up and down to the dock a little difficult, The house was clean and well stocked but very dated and dark. Furniture was right from the 80s. Kitchen was well provided with anything you could need which was nice.

Lovely Home

We found this home very comfortable. The room with the twin beds was nice, but the mattress (at least one) needs to be replaced. One of our adults had to stay in that room and it was terribly uncomfortable for him. Otherwise, we had plently of room, and lots to do. One caveat: the stairs from the house to the lake edge are steep and uneven. I don't recmmend this property for anyone that may have balance or stability issues.

Chelan getaway

Beautiful little home right on the water with a dock. Our dogs loved playing in the water and we had a great weekend with our family. Right across the street from a few awesome wineries which made tastings very easy! Would 100% stay here again, we loved it.

Charming Cabin makes you feel at home

This cabin is so cute and cozy. It is the perfect place for our family vacation. Dock and stairs into lake make it easy access. The porch swing was overlooking the panoramic view of the lake and is where I found myself anytime I was out of the lake. Plenty of space for our family and grandparents. We cannot wait until qe get to enjoy this home away from home again.

We had a wonderful time on Lake Chelan. Great location, nice house and good water access.

We have stayed here in the past and have enjoyed it every time. The house is nice and clean. It comes with everything you need. There is plenty of parking. The dock is nice and the water is easy to access. We enjoyed boating, walks, swimming and fishing while staying here. We will be back in the future.
