  • 5 Star Villa w / Chef, proprio sull'Oceano Pacifico

    Palace by the Sea si trova sulla TIP della penisola, a DESTRA sulla riva dell'Oceano Pacifico, con incredibili viste a 180 gradi di Manzanillo Bay e del Pacifico. Molto privato. Ha 9.500 metri coperti oltre a vaste piscine / vasche idromassaggio e giardini, tra cui una palapa appartata in riva al mare (zona ombreggiata) per momenti romantici. Questa è la nostra seconda casa e noi troviamo grande orgoglio nel Palazzo e riceviamo un grande piacere nell'avere che gli altri si godano la nostra casa.

    Una delle comunità più prestigiosi del Messico, La Punta è un paradiso residenziale ultra-esclusivo, ambito da notabili di tutto il mondo. Splendidamente situato su una penisola robusto che separa due maestose baie. Completamente sicuro con 24 ore di sicurezza e di accesso controllato.

    Caratteristiche interne
    Il palazzo ha:
    • Due straordinarie master suite (1.130 piedi e 800 piedi) con letti king size, vasca idromassaggio, bidet, aree salotto, balcone su suite superiore (quella inferiore si apre sul ponte della piscina) e magnifiche viste da ogni finestra
    • Tre suite per gli ospiti supplementari con vanità, bagni privati completi, uno con bidet. Due hanno un balcone con vista sull'oceano senza ostacoli e 2 letti matrimoniali ciascuna, l'altra si trova in un lussureggiante giardino e ha un letto king size più regina.
    • Il soggiorno e la sala da pranzo sono spaziosi e confortevoli per rilassarsi e divertirsi
    • Un sacco di spazio per riunioni di famiglia
    • Grande doppia scala ideale per cerimonie nuziali
    • Sale massaggi ed esercizi con attrezzature professionali e lettino da massaggio full size

    COME ARRIVARE A MANZANILLO - Non fermarsi da Los Angeles (Alaska Air, Aero Mexico), Città del Messico; e in inverno Phoenix (USAirways), Houston (United), diretto all'aeroporto internazionale di Manzanillo, che dista 30 minuti in auto dalla nostra villa. Se lo si desidera, in programma di trascorrere un giorno o due a Guadalajara e / o Città del Messico sulla strada o di ritorno - che sarà spezzare il viaggio e renderlo più interessante.

Amazing!

It's so hard to come back to reality after an amazing week at the Palace by the Sea.  For Christmas, my husband and I took our family of three children and five grandchildren (and one on the way)  to the palace for a week. It was the best present we ever gave to our family, and the best they ever received. Presents are forgotten but memories remain.  The home is more than the pictures show, I know that's hard to believe because we dreamed over the pictures and video of the palace for months before we left. Upon arrival in Manzanillo airport, we were transferred to the Palace by a great group (HARO)  and received a very warm welcome from all the staff with the best margaritas we ever had. The Palace staff is amazing, they are the most wonderfully warm and talented people. They could anticipate every want or need and would bend over backwards to assist in any way they could. Truly amazing people and amazing food. The meals were an event themselves. The best food we had in Manzanillo was at the Palace!  The beach at La Punta was awesome, our group rented jet skiis through HARO that were brought to the beach, so convenient. Because there was so much to do and see and our group would want to go in different directions, we also had HARO assist with additional transportation (Luis was our go-to travel guide, he did an excellent job).  We want to thank the Alpers for sharing their home with us, allowing us to build great memories of a wonderful time.

Insane!

Imagine your own private hotel in paradise.... In Dec I rented the Palace for a 8 nights for my husband's 50th Birthday, We had numerous friends joining us throughout our stay and everyone had the same the same response...AMAZING!! From the moment I reached out to the Alper's regarding renting the property until we said a tearful goodbye to the staff our experience was fantastic! The Palace itself is gorgeous (even more so than the photos), but what really made the stay perfect is the phenomenal staff! Every day we were met by smiling faces! Jose was there for every small or large request (there was a lot of liquor restocking :) Pilar is a wonderful Chef! She fulfilled our every request and surprised us with new dishes daily! One of our guests is a Celebrity Chef from New York and he could not get enough of her food- especially her mole and salsas. Paty and Carmen kept the house clean and were so helpful with any questions. I would also highly suggest you get a massage from Cecilia. She is a private massage therapist who comes to the house- there were 3 of us that got 2 massages during the stay!! And, finally a shout out to Albin who cleaned up our crazy messes around the pool after late night fun. I am a travel agent and will definitely be recommending Palace By The Sea to my clients. Hopefully, we will be back SOON!!

Pampered beyond Belief

Pampered Beyond Belief I have been delayed writing this review, but given the incredible stay I had at Palace by the Sea, I would be remised if I did not do a formal review before 2015 ends. Let me note that my husband and our two young daughter travel often and do at least two trips a year. I spent many weeks scouring the Internet to decide where we would spend our summer vacation in July 2015. We enjoy all types of trips including escorted land trips, cruises, railway journeys and even plan as we go adventures. This trip, however, I wanted to be relaxing and pampered. Often I return from vacation needing a vacation and this time I wanted true “lazy bliss”. I decided trying a fully staffed vacation home may be the perfect vacation for us. I stumbled across Palace by the Sea when I was searching vacation rental sites. From the first look at the palace I was smitten. Then I read the reviews and watched the video and I was sold. A gorgeous home with a chef preparing all of meals sounded like absolute paradise. I contacted the owners to reserve it and Mr. Alper responded immediately and even honored a lower price that the website quoted. I was impressed from the first contact. Because we have two young daughters (ages 7 and 11 at the time of the trip), I wanted to know about family activities. Mr. Alper put me in touch with his daughter in law, Sonja Alper, and the great service only continued. She was truly a God send and responded to EVERYONE of my NUMEROUS inquires. She made planning so easy and provided me with a lot of information to plan each thing we wanted to do. Once we arrived the palace was even better than the pictures and was truly spectacular. The staff was awesome and were there to greet us. I can’t say enough how much they helped make our trip wonderful. And the meals Pilar made (trust me I am a bit of a food snob) were phenomenal. Upon arrival we were made cocktails (mocktalis for the kids) and had an awesome dinner of authentic Mexican tacos as I requested. Pilar prepared all our meals and breakfast was always wonderful to wake up to the smells of eggs, bacon and tropical fruit. Pilar’s roast chicken and lobster tails were AMAZING. I was there on my birthday and she even made me a cake. The free wifi, house phone to make call back home, laundry service, golf cart and suburban and the amazing view all made for an A+ vacation.

Fantastic vacation at the Palace by the Sea!

One of the very best vacations we've ever had! Four couples enjoyed golfing, shopping, swimming, ATV and horseback riding. The houseman was there to answer any questions and arrange all our activities. The chef… spectacular! The meals were beautiful and delicious . Our laundry was done daily so no need to pack lots of clothes, of course that left plenty of room in our suitcase for treasures to take home. We differently plan to vacation at the Palace by the Sea again!

Fabulous!!

Perfection!!

There aren't too many things in life that can be called "perfect", but the week we spent at The Palace was just that...perfect! From the minute we arrived at this gorgeous location everything was just wonderful. The meals that Pilar prepared for us were the things dreams are made of - I'm STILL thinking about them. Jose and Patty took wonderful care of all our needs, including freshly laundered clothes each day. The Palace itself is beautiful - the living and dining rooms are outdoors so you don't miss any of the magnificent scenery. It was the most relaxing week I've ever enjoyed and have been telling everyone I know to try and get there for a vacation.

True Palace By the Sea!!! Wonferful!!

This house is a true palace by the sea, gorgeous location in a super safe gated community in La Punta Manzanillo. This house has it all, you have a 5 people staff with an incredible chef that will amaze you with exquisite food. Large and spacious suites for all the family, ask for anything and staff will do their best effort to make you happy. House is impeccably maintained, everything works exceptionally well. In La Punta you can enjoy your own private beach, one of the best beaches I've ever been, no vendors. no quads, etc... House is for total relaxation. I really recommend this house for a family vacation, wedding or travel with friends.

Beautiful villa!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Palace. Jose’ and the staff were accommodating in every way. Jose’ and the staff especially took to the needs of our young grandchildren. There was always snacks and fruit and they made the kids special drinks every afternoon. The food was beyond excellent, and always punctual. Prior to arriving, we were asked to create a menu that we would like to have cooked. Everything was so good, by the second day we asked her to cook her favorites. Her favorites became ours. Having the Suburban and golf cart available made it easy to take excursions within the gated community and out in the surrounding area. Jose’ helped line up the opportunity for the family to take advantage of massages, fishing and shopping. Having young ones swimming all day and night, it was nice to always have dry towels. OUR GREAT TIME AT THE PALACE

Our stay at Palace by the Sea was the definition of a luxurious vacation. The attention to detail is impeccable. Escorted from the airport by limo, we were greeted by a fabulous staff who carried our luggage into a gorgeous, spacious, and well-appointed room. The villa's living room is an enormous open atrium overlooking the ocean. All views are grand - visions from a beautiful dream. Favorite areas were the large pool, jacuzzi, outdoor lounging and dining, the exercise room and the media room. Complete with indoor and outdoor music systems we relaxed to smooth jazz, danced when wanted. At sunset we watched the incredible views serenaded by the waves and the breeze. Chef Pilar serves meals fit for a king. The fresh Margaritas, courtesy of Jose, are to die for. Twice we arranged for a delightful massage from the local massage therapist, Cecilia, who came to the villa. Everything is provided in the most thorough, loving, and exquisite way. You never have to lift a finger. The entire staff is kind, friendly and always accessible. They made our stay totally enjoyable and relaxing. Our special occasion was gloriously celebrated. We simply let them know and watched the magic happen. At the end of our stay, we wanted to hug every staff member. Our time at Palace by the Sea was a treasure and we look to return soon. We highly recommend The Palace to anyone who demands the best.

We were blown away!

Everything about this place is five-star: the location, the facilities, and the staff. Each morning we were greeted with dazzling array of fresh fruit with our breakfast, and every evening a fabulous, romantic sunset dinner. And in lovely lazy hours in between, we were treated to some of the most uncanny and intuitive service we've ever experienced: at one point, while swimming in the pool, I wondered silently to myself if it was too early for a beer and when looked up, there was a bucket of baby Coronas on ice giving me the answer. I would recommend this to anyone ready to enjoy the royal treatment in a real palace.

A review of our stay at Palace By The Sea by Bradley and Rebecca Schmehl (Pennsylvania, USA)

During the week of Dec. 16-21, 2013, we had the privilege of staying at the luxurious resort villa, Palace By The Sea, in Manzanillo Bay, Colima, Mexico. The accommodations were surely the most luxurious that we’ve ever experienced. From the gorgeous location, to the beautiful and impressive villa, to the warm and professional staff, to the sumptuous and delicious meals, to the breathtakingly upscale community with all of its many recreational and leisure activities, we reveled in the experience for five days that passed all too quickly. The Palace is a grand and gracious white stucco villa perched on a steep hillside of the point (“La Punta”) that rises abruptly out of the bay. There are five guest suites, a media room, and a large sitting/dining area in the central portion of the home, which is reached by descending one of two mirrored staircases which flank the entryway. The grounds are meticulously kept, beautiful and inviting. The 180 degree view of Manzanillo Bay from the volcanic stone poolside terrace is lovely, and the sound of the Pacific surf some 80 feet below is relaxing - almost hypnotic. You can walk down a long set of stairs to a small pavilion on the rocks below the house and enjoy the view, with the waves pounding against the rocks some 30 feet beneath you. With marble floors throughout, gracious furnishings and touches, all the amenities you can imagine and attentive staff at our beck and call, we felt like royalty. We enjoyed Swedish massages, horseback riding, snorkeling, lazing about by and in the swimming pool and jacuzzi, touring the lovely La Punta community in the golf cart which was at our disposal as Palace guests, walking the community’s private beach, going on shopping jaunts to the market in nearby Santiago in the SUV which was also provided us, and spent the time in between reading or watching a bit of TV. Sometimes we just sat on the terrace and watched frigate birds, pelicans, vultures and the occasional hawk fly by. It was a supremely wonderful environment in which to decompress from the stresses of life. (And we haven’t begun to mention all the other recreation and entertainment options available, such as zip-lining, evening cruises, ATV tours, world-class golf courses, and more.) Did we mention the food? Every multi-course meal was thoroughly delightful, thoughtfully prepared and presented, and absolutely delicious. An awesome vacation spot!

Our vacation at the Palace was an incredible experience. We were able to bring family together from various parts of the country for a relaxing family reunion. The Palace is a beautiful first class home designed to take advantage of the favorable climate, with large open air lounging and dining areas. From there, a few steps down to the patio area that features a swimming pool and hot tub, both of which we made a great deal of use. Around the pool there is ample amount of seating, including lounge chairs for sun bathing and umbrella covered tables for eating, drinking and visiting. We all enjoyed taking much advantage of all these amenities. The five luxurious bedrooms accomodated us all very comfortably, each one with distintive features and themes of their own. The staff of Jose, Pilar, Paty, Blanca and others saw to our every need, often anticipating our needs even before we did. Jose was always available for our smallest request. He supplied us with all the food we requested with his many trips to town and acted as our chaffeur when needed. Pilar's cooking was amazing, everything we could want, choosing from a menu that included American and Mexican style cuisine. The meals were always beautifully presented, often with more food than we could all eat. Paty and Blanca were always busy, from keeping the bedrooms and house spotless, doing laundry, to helping with all of the other details that needed attention. Jean Pierre visited each day to check on us to see if we had any needs or concerns. All were very friendly and inviting and we all appreciated their attention to our comfort. A short walk or golf cart ride took us to the LaPunta beach area where we enjoyed a day at the beach. Jose, Pilar and Paty brought our lunch right to us at the beach pavillion. Another great day! The area is perfectly safe and welcoming, contrary to what you hear on the news in America. We never felt threatened or uncomfortable in any way. I want to extend my thanks to Howie and Frankie and all of the staff on behalf of my wife Terri and the rest of my family, for offering their incredible villa for our wonderful vacation. Beautiful, luxurious oceanside villa

This magnificent ocean-side villa is luxurious with a friendly staff who attends to every need. The open architecture is stunning with exquisite brick domes and marble floors. Three well balanced and scrumptious meals a day are provided at minimum cost and are "works of art". An on site pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. It is in a beautiful, safe, gated community (LaPunta) with private tennis courts and a beautiful, clean private beach. The views of the ocean from every window are stunning and the sound of the surf lulls one to sleep every night. The bedrooms are beautiful and large and almost an apartment in their own right. A media room offers a place to watch TV, movies and listen to music. There is access to an electric golf-cart and an eight passenger SUV. Golfing, surfing, deep-sea fishing, hiking, horseback riding, zip-lines, paddle boards, snorkeling and scuba diving are just a few of the activities available for rental or at close venues. A Saturday open market is interesting and fun but there is also a Walmart available for shopping. The staff are very capable, friendly, conscientious and speak quite good English. We found the private beach to be a true treasure and we enjoyed many activities there even at night because of its lights. It was a wonderful, relaxing, sun and fun filled vacation for all of us and we are looking forward to the time when we can go again! We all would highly recommend it to relatives and friends.

We want to express our sincere thanks to Howie and Frankie Alper for allowing us a week of pure pleasure. We were spoiled, pampered and so well fed that our belts had to be let out a notch after a week of Pilar’s wonderful, outstanding cooking. Each meal was perfect and the table setting was a compliment to the foods served. Jose was the most wonderful companion and so willing to be our guide, and chauffeur, from shopping, to a day spent viewing the sea turtle sanctuary and a delightful boat ride. He even taught us a bit of Spanish! Jose mixes a mighty Margarita that was so appreciated, and he was always there for our every need with a happy smile. Paty was an excellent housekeeper always on top of everything and everything done to perfection. The kindness she showed, with the added touches of a bottle of water by our bedside nightly, laundry done and ready for our next day’s needs was appreciated. Omar’s work was a pleasure to behold. He kept everything clean and the pool sparkling and the hot tub a delight. The coconuts he prepared for us were a surprise and an appreciated extra treat. As promised there was someone waiting to whisks us from the airport to the most magnificent ocean front place that our party had even imagined in our wildest dreams. The information that was in the book listed so many wonderful places to visit and we just enjoyed all of the information at our fingertips. To speak of the pool and hot tub is an easy subject as it was a pure delight to relax in the warm clean water. The lazy, relaxing days were always topped off with a visit to the bedroom that was spacious and so easy to fall into a relaxing sleep with the sounds of the ocean in the open windows. The Palace and its surroundings are the most beautiful and tranquil place we have travelled to. Each of the staff rise to the occasion to make your stay truly magical! Every wish is your command. Family Trip with kids and 2 grandchildren

I'm happy to say that we all had a wonderful time, and the Palace By The Sea is truly a "palace". Not only is the home absolutely beautiful in every way, the staff was a joy to work with and be around. Fabulous food and cooking, and Jose made all of our plans so easy to execute. He was a great guide and chaueffer.....The beach is a very short distance away, very beautiful and very few people there. The weather was perfect; it's an easy drive from the airport, and we all felt very safe at La Punta (the secure area of homes where the Palace is located). The bathrooms are very large and the bedrooms very roomy - especially the 2 Master bedrooms. VERY clean and well kept - the staff every day would be there to take care of any needs you might have - you simply had no worries! Every day you pick from a generous menu list, and the cook does a marvelous job of preparing your meals. The "worst" meal that we had all week (and it was still very good) was when we went out to a restaurant for dinner one night - we were spoiled by the great food at the Palace. There are many local golfing choices and other activities to enjoy. We went deep sea fishing, shopping and took the kids for a "zip" ride in the mountains. I would definitely recommend the Palace to anyone who is looking for a great place to relax with family and friends.

Highly Recommend

We had a week long family retreat at the Palace by the Sea. There were 5 teenagers and 8 adults. The home had plenty of space for all of us and was large enough for people to "get away" for peace and privacy. This was my families (myself, husband, and two teenagers) first time to Manzanillo. We tend to vacation in Mexico on an annual basis and it was a treat to go somewhere new. All of us loved the town and location. While we did leave the neighborhood occasionally, we really found that most of our time was spent at the house and at the neighborhood facilities. Some of the best snorkeling and beaches were right here! One highlight to the trip was the meals. Every meal was mouth watering. None of us were ever disappointed. The staff was fabulous. They really spoil you. Everyone, adults and kids, felt tended to. My only complaint is that we are now spoiled. We will definitely come back! Thank you for making your magnificent home and staff available.

Simply Extraordinary

It was a perfect week-long retreat. The house is stunning as is the setting. Our party raved everyday about the staff and the incredible food -- not only did we not have a single complaint about even as much as a morsel of food we were served, we unanimously agreed every meal was a surprising, multi-course delight and a true joy. The staff was delightful and attended to our every need. The house, grounds and entire residential area were spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the gardens and architecture of the La Punta neighborhood were uniformly gorgeous. We used the tennis courts everyday and found them in perfect condition and beautifully sited. We saw whales breaching 4 of our 7 days, just a few hundred yards from our terrace. Our expectations were met and exceeded. We would go back in a heartbeat.

A Trip To Paradise

Our trip to La Punta in Manzanillo was amazing! Weather was in mid-eighties w/ low humidity. Not a lot of tourists based on time of year. Staff was great, spoke English, very friendly. Chef (Pilar) made fantastic meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate lunch at a restaurant once and wondered why since the food at the Palace was so much better. One meal I do recommend having out is the grilled fish/shrimp at the restaurants on the beach near the turtle sanctuary. Turtle sanctuary was worth a visit. Kids got to send 1 day old baby sea turtles into the ocean. Another fun activity was zip lining - about a 40 min. car ride to get there, but worth the drive. Had access to Suburban (w/ driver if needed) and paid an additional $500 for 2nd Suburban (w/ driver for a week) since we had 12 people (5 adults, 7 children, ages 7-11). Very helpful to have a guide to set up activities, interpret, etc. Palace is in a great location, near water, beautiful views, safe, and well maintained. Also nice to have phone/internet access. Beach club at La Punta is a wonderful amenity - lush and picturesque, plenty of tables/chairs, pool, very private. We rented 2 jet skis and had them delivered to the beach club so we could take turns riding them, and we spent a lot of time snorkeling. Tennis courts at La Punta are another great amenity - our families played tennis every evening. The golf cart that comes w/ the house is the perfect way to get around La Punta and explore a bit - kids loved riding in it. Bedrooms were all a good size and beds were comfortable. Customer service at the palace was excellent, and we felt very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. Perfect for large groups.
