    The Space:

    A tranquil and scenic getaway awaits when you book this fantastic vacation rental in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This quaint cabin is great for escaping the everyday humdrum life, becoming one with nature, and enjoying some quiet time to yourself. Only 1000 feet from the beach, you'll love strolling on the sand and listening to the rolling waves, boating, fishing, or paddleboarding. Outdoor enthusiasts will love all the trails in the area, including Nahkahnie Viewpoint, Silver Point Interpretive Overlook, and touring the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, all within 18 miles.



    Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, streaming a movie marathon on the large TV, or curling up with a good book by the wood-burning stove. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the sophisticated kitchen, equipped with ample cupboard room, capable appliances, and a formal dining table. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night's rest from the day's adventures. After a day of adventuring, roast marshmallows and tell stories at the firepit until the stars come out to dot the sky.

Great midweek stay!

The house was a perfect place for us to get away for a midweek break — really close to the beach, with well-stocked cabinets and thoughtful amenities. Manzanita is a little quieter, and was close to some good hiking trails. All in all, it was a great place for our excursions up and down the coast!

Good location, comfortable furnishings

The location was on a quiet street just a block and a half from the beach. The furniture was more comfortable than typical for a short term rental and the beds were very comfortable with a nice memory foam topper.

The CastAway Cabin was perfect for our family!

We loved how convenient this house was to the beach … a short walk for the kids! This was a well equipped home With a cozy feel and pleasant decorations. We loved the sweet , private back yard. We hope to come here again in the future. Thank you so much!

A little quirky but cozy

This house has a fantastic location, only a block and half from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. and the family room is especially comfortable. It could use better lighting in spots and shows signs of wear, but it was clean and cozy.

Airy and bright

There were a few issues - the downstairs bathroom's sliding door rubs on the wall and is impossible to lock. Some of the pots and pans were still dirty. But otherwise there were way more amenities than expected, the sky lights made the place bright and airy and we had a great time.

Nice Stay

Overall nice stay, house was comfortable for our group. CONS: -We had 5 adults, any more people, you would be bumping into each other. (Rooms smaller than pictures) -king sized sheets did not fit on one bed, kept waking up to bottom sheet coming off. -Upstairs sink did not drain. PRO’S -Nice big dining table -Comfortable TV coaches -Quiet neighborhood -

Sweet Space with privacy but close to it all

Sweet space for a long weekend! Loved the wood stove - we had so much fun roasting marshmellows. A huge plus in our book. Nicely laid out space with all bedrooms upstairs. Huge bathtub in the bathroom upstairs. Couches were cozy with the TV and the stove. Kitchen was small and had everything you needed with a nice big table in the dining room. We were lucky and had some sun despite a forecast for rain and enjoyed the front deck. We also walked to town - a little far but lovely in the sun. You can tell the people who own the place, really love it. We would come back in a heartbeat.
