    The Space:

    Step back in time for a quintessential Oregon coast experience in this authentic two-story beach home. This home is 2 blocks from the beach and 1 block from charming downtown Manzanita. Located a mile down the road, explore year-round outdoor activities at Nehalem Bay State Park, including hiking, biking, beachcombing, crabbing, clamming, horseback riding, and fishing.



    Breathe in the fresh ocean air on the back deck complete with Adirondack chairs. Fire up the grill for a cookout, then cozy up by the firepit. Built in 1922, this charming house features original hardware, built-ins, and nautical-inspired design elements throughout. Light the wood-burning fireplace, then kick back and watch a movie on the Roku TV in the living room. Grab a book, turn on some music, and relax in the lounge that has a sofa and antique furnishings. Choose from a selection of board games, puzzles, and DVDs.



    Cook a hearty meal in the bright kitchen with original cabinets and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher for easy cleanup. A gorgeous, original built-in credenza is on display in the dining room and provides ample space to serve a buffet-style dinner. Gather at the two large dining tables for memorable meals and family fun. A lovely light fixture hangs above the formal dining table set for eight. Extra perks include a washer/dryer and a clawfoot tub in the main-level bathroom.

    Local attractions include Nehalem Bay State Park, seasonal farmer's markets, eclectic shops, and amazing restaurants. Known for its thriving arts community, Manzanita is home to several fine galleries, a performing arts theatre, and the Hoffman Center for the Arts. Venture to the beach for whale watching, a crabbing excursion, or a guided horseback riding tour. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy unparalleled views of the ocean, Nehalem Bay, and the surrounding region while hiking Neahkahnie Mountain.

Have been staying at this rental since I was a child, PERFECT location. Under a 5 min walk to anything you could need/want! We did notice that a deep clean could be done; especially the window sills, and a good Kitchen Clean.

Completely Charming Getaway

The location was great, and the house has everything you need. It is an old house, but has been fixed up really nicely. We really enjoyed the fire pit in the back as well.

Great Location

Sweet house with all that you need to enjoy a weekend at the beach. Beds were small, but comfortable. Quick access to the town and beach. Glad we were able to get away.
