“Watch out--you have to pay for parking! $10 per day, and there are signs everywhere that say that the parking lot is not safe and to remove ALL belongings. The area seemed very uncomfortable, since the Cub foods next to the hotel had a security guard and security in the parking lot. The hotel itself is dated but they price it as though it is new. Staff was dismissive. Think again before booking at this location.”

“One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The room and overall place were very clean. The free breakfast was great. The bed, sheets, and pillows were super soft. Staff was very friendly and helpful in giving directions and suggestions.”

“We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is nothing fancy like you will find in downtown, however this hotel was perfect for our stay while our house was being remodeled. We had to extend our stay and we were able to do so without issue. We utilized the hot tub and swimming pool almost everyday we were there. We were close to many restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises.”

“It was okay. The room had high ceilings, definitely felt smaller than 600sqft. I appreciated that it was pet friendly, I did not appreciate being told there was a “$100 deposit” only to have my reciept at the end of the stay say “$100 pet cleaning fee.” That feels dishonest when we left our room spotless. There were two Valets when I stayed, one was great. One valet was awkward, seemed high or just spaced out of it. He’d watch from the inside while I struggled with a baby, a dog and whatever...

“Considering the hotel is not part of a chain and is in downtown St. Paul, I think the prices and amenities offered were great, particularly the hot breakfast. I really enjoyed the aesthetic and theme, the staff were kind and helpful, and the overall operation of the hotel seemed very smooth. However, the room itself left something to be desired. “The room was in ill repair. The one sink didn’t drain and the other had the stopper stuck. The balance over the door to the outside was not attached on one side. There was a bag of trash outside our door to the grassy area. The chairs for the porch were broken. The keys cards to the door c kept not working. The type of person staying at the hotel were one step short of skid row. The hallways smelled like marijuana.”
