This gated Villa features 5 Bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms, a ground floor kitchenette, a 2nd floor gourmet kitchen with stainless steel Bosch Appliances, 3 stories of living and open water views, balconies on all levels, elevator access to each level, a private boat and fishing dock, fish station, custom dock lights, and private pool all within a 5 minute walk to Sombrero Beach! With 5 Bedrooms and 5 Bathrooms, this home will fit the largest of families with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Very few homes this large in the Sombrero Beach area and none of them are Brand New!

1st FLOOR: GROUND LEVEL
Walk in to a large beautiful bright entry and then straight through to poolside and views of the canal. Kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, sink, and Keurig coffee maker that is conveniently located on the ground floor for fun gatherings of poolside drinks and meals. Bedroom with king size bed and big screen Smart TV. Bathroom with shower. This bathroom has 2 entrances - one from the bedroom and one from the poolside (outside) to also be used as a pool bathroom.
Beautiful outdoor pool with lounge chairs and stunning views of the canal. Outdoor dining area with dining table and chairs. Brand new stainless gas grill. 30' Dock with custom lighting, underwater fish lights, dock lights, fish cleaning station, electric outlet, water hose, ladder, outdoor bait freeze, and kayaks. Indoor stairs as well as outdoor spiral stairs connect ground to the second level.

2nd FLOOR-MAIN LEVEL
Walk up to the open large floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living room. A beautiful and fully stocked gourmet kitchen with all stainless steel Bosch appliances. Coffee station, drink blender, mixer, and toaster are a few of your accessories. Everything you need to make you feel like you're the chef in your own kitchen with all the comforts of home. JVL Partybox color changing Bluetooth speaker. Enjoy amazing sunsets on the large 2nd floor balcony that overlook the pool and canal with beautiful water views. The outdoor balcony has dining and seating areas for your large group. Living room with comfortable couches and big screen smart TV. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. Kitchen has a starter package of dish detergent, laundry detergent, trash bag, and kitchen sponge. Built in WIFI with password. Stand alone JVL speakers with easy bluetooth connection on 1st and 2nd floors. All bedrooms have alarm clocks with built-in USB charging station. Each bathroom includes a hair dryer, hotel luxury towels and washcloths, as well as a starter package of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and lotion. Coffee maker on ground and 2nd floor levels. Large beach towels. All doors to the pool area have child/pool alarms.
A 2-person kayak and a 1-person kayak. Life jackets. Poolside box contains beach chairs, and cooler.

Spectacular Family Gathering

This was such a lovely home to visit. The three floors with 5 spacious bedrooms gave everyone their own space, and there was plenty of spots to gather for meals and pool time. The view of the canal at sunset was beautiful. The location was great; the market is down the road, you can walk or bike to the beach, and there are many excellent restaurants just a couple of miles away. Our hostess was gracious and always available. My elderly father used the elevator and enjoyed the suite on the first floor. It was clean and beautifully decorated. I would stay here again.,

Fantastic Family getaway

This was the perfect property for our big family of adults. Everyone had space and room to get away as well as plenty of gathering areas. Easy walk to the beach, dock space for jumping on kayaks and the green underwater light allows for some really cool evening fish viewing. The house itself is very clean, well appointed and decorated nicely - appliances work well and plenty of servingware for a group - the elevator was a fun lifesaver when it came to getting bags and groceries upstairs- owner was very responsive to all of our questions - highly recommend!

Fantastic location for family trip!

We loved our time in Marathon at Julie and Scott's place. The location is ideal - near Sombrero Beach - and Marathon is my favorite place to stay in the Keys because of it's central location. It's a short walk to Sombero beach from the property and the dock off the back of the property provided an opportunity for a pontoon rental and a chance to see (literally) over a dozen manatees - including babies. The home worked perfectly for my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and my BIL's family (2 adults, 2 kids) - there was more than enough room for us all to stay comfortably. The pool was a perfect place to cool off after a hot day at the beach or walking around Key West (only about an hour drive). I would rent here again in a heartbeat (and we've already talked about coming back). Quick note: We had some concerns with TS Debby approaching at the same time as our arrival and Julie was fantastic with communication and help. Also, we had a few small technical issues at the house during our stay which were swiftly addressed - and I mean swiftly - handyman/tech came out the next day and the issue was fixed. Just a great all-around experience! Thank you Julie & Scott!

Most Excellent Stay Ever!!!!

This was the MOST communicative & responsive hosts, the most beautiful & best-stocked rental home we’ve ever stayed in! 6 adults & 4 teenage boys who lived on the dock the whole time! Location was perfection! Made for a glorious lobster mini season. Gorgeous kitchen with anything you could ever need. Beautiful views. Plenty of space. Chilled pool was amazing after long boat day. Gorgeous sunset views. Just can’t say enough about it all. We hope to be back soon!

AMAZING

Everything about our stay was AMAZING! Julie was incredible from the initial booking to checking out. She was very helpful and informative of local happenings for July 4th. We have stayed in many houses in Marathon and this by far was the best! The location was perfect! We could walk to the beach, fish off the dock and meander through the waterways to get to the ocean and gulf! My only complaint is we should have stayed longer!

Beautiful Home in Walking Distance to Sombrero Beach!

Our group was five couples and we each had our own room and bathroom. The kitchen, dining and living area, the large porch on the second floor, and the pool accommodated us well. The beach was a 9-10 minute walk.

Great experience

This was our third time staying on Sombrero Beach Road and the best experience yet. The last two times we stayed at a VRBO managed by a company. This house, managed by Julie, was much cleaner and better stocked with amenities. The location was great! And although we didn’t have any issues that needed immediate attention, I had Julie’s cell phone number so I could have contacted her directly if we needed anything. Overall great experience and hope to come back again soon!

Good Family Rental

Location was great - short walk to beach close to Publix and activities especially when it was rainy and only in the 60s. Plenty of room for 7 to stay with a spare bedroom. Wished the 1st floor bedroom had a regular door instead of a louver door - we could hear voices of those who stayed up later.

Exceptional Property

For a family vacation with 7 adults and 2 children, this property was perfect. We had plenty of room for everyone. The home is beautifully decorated, was well stocked, and very clean. With the heat, the pool was a welcome break. The kids enjoyed the kayaks. This home is close to the beach, shopping, grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants. What a memorable vacation.

Great Place To Stay

We are a family of 10, all adults, five couples. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the home, pool, local area, and beach. The house was spotless and well-equipped. The downstairs bedroom needed more places to hang and unpack our stuff; we made due. Adding hooks to the walls and the back of the door all over the house would help. The owner let us know that a sliding glass shower door broke, and a new one was on order. The temporary curtain rod fell several times, but no big deal. The HVAC in the upper floors kicked off; the owner had someone out the same day to attend to it. Maybe adding TVs to all the Bedrooms, in case folks are used to having one, would be nice. We bought several beach chairs, umbrellas, and floats and left them for the next guest. It may be time to replace them, as several were broken. We found the coolers the day before we checked out under the sink downstairs. This was a 4.5-star stay, but it would take very little to get it to a solid 5-star accommodation. Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home.

Great Family Vacation!

We just stayed the week of Christmas and it was perfect! The owner was very responsive and helpful with booking different reservations and telling us fun things to do with the kids. The location is great. It’s less than a half a mile to sombrero beach and there is a nice park there and tons of parking if you don’t want to walk. There are a handful of beach chairs provided. It was a little over a mile to Publix and sandal factory. My brothers rented a boat and the dock was perfect for that. We would definitely stay again!

Nicest rental in the Keys

We had an amazing TG week at this property. Beautifully kept and decorated property with a boat dock and a half mile walk to a white sand beach. House feels brand new. Top quality and well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and easily fitted our two families of four adults and six kids/ teens. I would have no hesitation in recommending and hope to return again. Communication with Julie was helpful prompt, friendly and professional. I live in Miami and often come to the keys and this is the nicest property we have stayed at. No need to look any further !

This vacation rental accommodated our family of nine perfectly. Our married children and grandchildren each had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The décor was beautiful!

Perfect location and beautiful home

We had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful home. The kids enjoyed the pool everyday and the beach was very close. The elevator was very handy for suitcases. The view from the deck was breathtaking you will never get tired of the beauty. I would highly recommend this home. We had ages for 73-8 and it was perfect. The only small negative I wish they had provided simple things like salt and Pepper we bought groceries but never thought to get them because it had always been provided anywhere we had rented before. A very minor detail . You won’t regret staying here.

Great House!

My husband and I took our 3 girls and another family to stay in Marathon. This place was amazing! Great location! We rented a boat for the week, so having the private dock on a canal was amazing. A short walk to Sombrero beach. And the pool with the kids was fabulous! Would stay here again! The owners were awesome and communicated very quickly!

You won’t be disappointed!

Very clean, great location (near Publix and the beach), excellent host that is easy to communicate with. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. Running/biking path right outside. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect - great fishing not far off shore. Go to Irie Island Eats for the best food!
