Marblehead Family Lake Cottage - 3 bedroom

Updated Lake Cottage, only 100 yards from the Sandusky Bay, a private beach and lakefront deck & pier is perfect for a getaway to experience all that Lake Erie shores has to offer. Enjoy the convenience of home while experiencing Lake Erie and close location to Cedar Point, Put-in-Bay, Kelley's Island, downtown Sandusky, Kalahari, and so much more.

***1 week minimum stays. Renters to provide own linens. Check-in 4:00pm, Check-out 10:00am***

New owners and newly decorated cottage features a spacious kitchen and living room, 3 bedrooms (Master has 1 Queen, Guest Bedroom has 1 Queen, & Kids room has 2 sets of Triple Bunk Beds), 2 bathrooms, a full laundry room, and an outside living space. Guests will have access to the entire home. Fold down couch available in living room for additional sleeping. Quiet, lake community with a nice mix of low-key locals and summer tourists.

The lakefront park is only a few houses away with a beach, dock, and pier connected. Our cottage is very family friendly! We also have the following available to use: wagon, corn hole boards, pack-n-play, booster seat, boards games, and many more!

The stairs to the house are unsafe, stove and oven extremely dirty. Ad said no pets, couch covered in dog hair. owner has a dog. No towels, no sheets mattress pad ripped up shower curtain was gross, fans and ac ducts very dirty. had to wash all the dishes to use them silverware cookware was cheap furniture looks like 1970 goodwill

Loved the Lakeside Marblehead Cottage

We are from West Michigan and wanted to fish for the famous Lake Erie Walleyes. The cottage was perfect for us with our own boat dock just a very short walk down path and easy access to the lake. The cottage had plenty of room for 3 guys for the week (10 beds to choose from). Even with some poor weather we still had a great time. We enjoyed the overall beauty of the Marblehead area with a couple road trips. The owner was very helpful with our questions. We really enjoyed our fishing trip vacation...and yes, we caught lots of walleye. Thanks again to Eric!

A perfect family getaway

Marblehead is one of the best kept secrets just west of Cleveland! We decided to take a chance and explore a new area with the family, and this perfect cottage gave us such a wonderful opportunity to do just that! Eric was a wonderful host, and so gracious and thoughtful. He was easy to communicate with, very responsive and provided a great space for our family to move in for the week! All of the amenities were just as described, and the kids loved the "tri" bunk beds. There is plenty of closet space, and the kitchen is well stocked. The shore was great for the children to explore the lake and discover lots of creatures! We had a great time trying our hand at fishing and caught a few too. All in all, I highly recommend this home for a family getaway and highly recommend exploring Marblehead too!

Wonderful Stay

Family had a wonderful stay at the house which was clean and accommodating for our party of four. Location was a primary consideration for us. Eric was a great host and was always responsive for our questions. Would recommend staying here if your looking in this area for accommodations.

Great location with easy access to Lake Erie and surrounding areas!

Very clean and cozy spot with room for the entire family! Plenty of room to store a kayak in the garage with easy access to the water just steps away. Overall the cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed during our stay! It was nice to be centrally located to a lot of great places like Johnson's Island, Kelley's Island, Marblehead and Port Clinton. One thing to keep in mind is that the area around the neighborhood and frankly most of Marblehead is not very walkable (outside of a very busy road) so plan to drive most places but everything is a pretty quick drive away. Would definitely stay here again!
