“Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house.”

“This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival.”

“Le logement est spacieux et l’extérieur est très agréable avec le jardin, les terrasses et la piscine. La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. Nous y avons passé deux belles semaines ! Sur les conseils de la propriétaire, nous avons pu découvrir de belles adresses (restaurants, caves, monuments…).”

“This property is a green oasis. The old stone buildings are beautifully decorated. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is great and the movable roof is absolutely brilliant. “The house was beautiful,magical,homey and the views from the pool and pergola were absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Especially for Paula our very talented and kind chef who came to cook for us on 2 occasions If I could give a 6 star I would as Victor the owner just couldn’t do enough for us. He was there when we needed him for restaurant recommendations, directions for the hiking path, cab bookings and kind enough to fix the coffee...

“Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward.”

“La struttura è pulita, arredata benissimo e dislocata in zona molto comoda. In dotazione, oltre al basico bagnoschiuma, geldoccia e sapone, phon, macchina del caffè con relative cialde, e cucina dotata di tutto. Unica pecca a metà soggiorno abbiamo dovuto richiedere rifornimento carta igienica, ma è stata prontamente consegnata senza alcun problema. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene. Consigliatissimo!”
