The Hotel Almerwirt in Maria Alm, Austria

Warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, who were very helpful and friendly, coming from a time share across the village, my room was ready early. Liked the room safe and closet space. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Coupons for attractions. Good location close to the centre of the village. Good value and service. Beautiful little alpine village with several outdoor performances and festivals. The only issue I had was 2 flights of stairs (but they helped with my luggage).

A charming mountain retreat

Great value with a friendly reception, well appointed rooms and excellent on site facilities, all in a beautiful picturesque setting. After a hot pre-storm day in the saddle but now starting to rain it was good to take a cooling dip in the indoor pool. I declined an offer from the receptionist to open the sauna for my use. Through the large picture window at the pool there were great views of the low cloud shrouded mountains. We took a walk around the town but of the many places to eat we found none apparently better than the restaurant at our hotel and from the number of people who were also walking around only to settle here for dinner I guess they shared our opinion. The front of counter service staff wore traditional Tirolean dress. To add to the atmosphere a chap in this get up played an accordion while we dined. The inclusive in the price breakfast was decent too and for all of this I will be staying here again.

Ett helmysigt hotell. Bra rum och hyfsad frukost. Tyvärr var det en större fest på hotellet så vi fick gå iväg och äta på ett annat ställe. Annars ett bra hotell med alptoppar vart man än tittade

Going back again

We loved this hotel, we were late arriving and didn't have a cell to call the hotel, but the front desk stayed open late to wait for us. Despite that, their service was still the best I've ever had in a hotel, they offered have the kitchen make a late snack for us before they left. The room was clean and modern, our only complaint is the bed was harder than we prefer. The shower had great water pressure and very hot water, the complimentary breakfast in the morning was great. All of our interaction with the hotel staff was exceptional, we're definitely staying here again next time we go skiing.

Dejligt beliggende i lille ferielandsby - meget venligt personale. Såvel morgenmad som aftensmad var udmærket og til rimelige priser. Masser af muligheder for vandreture. Pæne parkeringsforhold.
